A solution for those who have a type c connection on their PC case, but not on their motherboard
I recently upgraded my PC case, and the new case had one of the newer type C ports. My motherboard didn't have the type C connection, but did have a spare USB 3 port,so I purchased this item and it works perfectly. Admittedly you dont get the increased speed of the type C, but you can still plug in your phone to either charge it or transfer data- The speed is near identical to the USB Ports that are on the case.A worthwhile investment,that is very useful. Highly recommend!

Works really well, the one issue I had is it’s possible to connect the USB type E connector backwards which it probably should stop you doing. So just ensure you check the pictures for the right way around

Great little converter
Bought to convert a USB3 header into a usb type c for the front case connectors whilst upgrading part of my old system. This plugs in easily and does effectively give you a usb type c. Although it seems well made you do need to consider that this will bend at the USB3 connector if put under any strain.

Handy
Bought a meshify s2 which has a usb type c internal header.Pop one of these in to convert one of the USB 3 headers as my board doesn't have a type f header. Works a treat

Didn't work in my motherboard
Constantly crashed during boot when used with my Motherboard and Case combination - ASRock B550M Pro 4 and Jonsbo N4 case. Removing the adapter and not using the USB C port on the front of the case resolved the issue completely.

Exactly what it says
Works exactly as needed I even used a usb 2.0 to usb 3.0 convertor with this. Obviously the speeds were decreased but that's to be expected.
