Versatile, but heavy!
Having vaulted ceilings and gable mounted cctv, I needed a big ladder. This was the biggest 'A' frame ladder I could find, but it is also an extendable straight ladder. It's on the verge of being too heavy for one person to manage safely. It folds in half, and down to about a metre, but makes a 3.1m 'A' frame, and 6.2m fully extended. Some reviews said it flexes, but I didn't feel that it did. It had safety features to lock into place, and I'm very happy with mine.

Good quality, heavy
Good quality, heavy. The ladder extends as soon as you raise it/pick it up. Which makes it sometimes a bit difficult to manoeuvre especially combined with the weight.

Dangerous Goods, please do not risk your life buying this product.
Purchased this principally to use as the 6.2metre extended ladder and the company advertises it is as EN131 certified. This is falsely being advertised as compliant. This design is 2 very heavy ladders joined together at the middle. One being inverted meaning very heavy at the bottom and top and very weak in the middle. This results in major flex tolerance where they are joined. It was so dangerous looking and flexing I did not even attempt to climb it. Any weight as you climb this contraption makes the ladder flex and you end up with the ladder bending and overhanging . So so dangerous. You cannot move it along as you work as the rungs at the bottom do not lock and if you lifted the ladder to move it, the ladder increases in height. The unlocking system is definitely not soft closing. This heavily retracts and will break any fingers or hands that get in the way. You need 2 persons to raise, lower and move. I asked for proof of EN131 part 6 which is specifically for telescopic ladders and a copy of the testing certificate. (ladder experts advise you to check first, learning point, wish I did). The company sent a chinese (not EU which the standard is) certificate which had a list of so called models on it. This model was not on it and when further contacted the company said the model was EN131!! Hilarious that is the compliant standard for all ladders advertised. Turns out the certificate was a chinese customs certificate!! 😆 This seller does not have a clue and is falsely advertising. I requested a refund and sent it back however as expected with bad customer service they refused to pay courier costs. This I have now escalated with Amazon and my credit card company. Please avoid this product, manufacturer and this seller Outdoors Sports Supplies EU at all costs.

Easy when you get the hang of it
Been considering this type of ladder as easier to store and transport, quite easy to use as both an A frame and standard ladder once your familiar with them, quite impressed, used them as both A frame and standard, a bit wobbly as full size step ladder but was able to reach bottom and centre of windows on first floor, ladder reaches easily to soffits and gutters, happy with quality.

Didn't die
I had massive doubts about this product but figured it wouldn't be available (it's not cheap) unless it was safe to a level. It took a while to figure out how to operate it safely, but go slow and read the stickers and instructions and it will be fine. The reasonable quality of the English was reassuring. As a step ladder: did not feel very safe as it sways a bit if you're up high, but it stayed up and so did I. Not a great experience but used carefully it should be fine.As a full ladder (fully extended): frankly terrifying at first, given the way it bowed towards the wall (and after trying it as steps I was even more nervous). Also I weigh about 100kg (it's rated <150kg). That said being fixed at both ends, and with my partner stood on the base strut it actually seemed okay and I didn't die. I didn't go much about halfway, because I'm not insane, but hey it's a very long ladder.*** ENSURE that the hinge has the rounded side with the axle/pin/whetever TOWARDS the wall. First time I didn't and when it bowed the catch uplocked and the thing nearly killed me (it is heavy). Nearly. In the end I thought it is probably scarier looking (and feeling on first use) than it really is, so up I went. I actually did some stuff up there and felt relatively safe. With my partner footing it.Also it packs down to a very small item, which rocks.Buy, but be very careful, and you too almost certainly won't die.

Dangerous and not fit for purpose.
These were purchased for domestic use. The first step collapsed under me on just the 3/4th time of using. I’m just grateful it was the first step that collapsed and not one higher up as this could have led to damage or serious injury for me……

Read the instructions, is a must.
Easy to store, once you understand the instructions, to put up also easy once you understand the instructions. Yes. to put and down, needs some thought, but a couple of trial runs and it's fine very secure and stable, to work on gutters please make use of a stand off which is only common sense.
