Outdated item
This was a pricey item that has an expiration date four months from the receipt of the item. Customers deserve better than that. Spices should be good for at least a year.

Great smell and taste
I love Spicy World Nutmeg powder because it smells like fresh grated nutmeg and they gave a long expiration date. I use it in my teas, baking cookies, cakes, custards ad more. It's great for your health too. I will buy this product again as long as Spicy world maintains the freshness and same overall quality. Thank you.

Good nutmeg
This is well ground nutmeg packed in a plastic sealed bag; it's good value for the money but just a bit dry and more powdery than I'm used to. But, the flavor is good, and I use a tiny bit more than the recipe calls for ....yum. It made a delicious chocolate babka with this nutmeg powder in the bread.

Wow! I was suprised in a good way
I love nutmeg but don't use it too often (if I had my way I'd add it to everything but i digress). I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I went with the cheapest I could find on Amazon. I wasn't expecting much because of the price. It came in a sealed-zipper top bag - like a shredded cheese bag-which was a little bit of challenge opening. I assumed it would lack flavor and taste old but was pleasantly surprised - it was potent - 'little dab will do ya". Highly recommend.
