Clear print onto a hard-to-rip plasticated finish. One side shows the country in its entirety top to bottom, very good for planning purposes. Travel links and topography and main features are well defined. There's a separate box for the Jaffna District, and on the reverse some excellent larger-scale maps of Columbo areas, plus the coast north to Negombo with all beaches/resorts clearly marked, then other boxes for Anuradhapura, Mihintale, Unawatuna, Polonnaruwa, Dalada Maluwa, Kandy, Hikkaduwa, and the Galle Dutch fort area. The Legend box of what the symbols mean is clear and useful. Opened out I'd guess it at around 1 metre x .5 of a metre. Folds down easily. The main full country map is 1 : 500,000.I haven't taken it into the bath but it seems to be waterproof, so it should survive a monsoon, or sweaty pockets on a hot day. Good map of the whole island and larger maps within it of Columbo and other centres

Very handy and clear general map of Sri Lanka but not perfect, the occasional town omitted. Nevertheless, the best and most prcatical I have seen.The material is fairly robust and survived some rough handling. The maps of key towns were also a boon. All you need for a trip to that lovely island.

It’s a map with decent detail and it doesn’t need a battery !

We didn't travel around very much, but the map was good and served it'spurpose.
