Had to get one of these for my motjer's new shower as she can't stand for long. This is a really sturdy, well made shpwer seat and looks great too, even when folded up. The price to quality rario is outstanding! These things usially cost well over £100! This is such great value for money. Highly recommended.

Nice design and appearance but materials a little on the light side. Best installed on solid walls - not dry-lined walls (plasterboard over battons) and certainly not on stud-walling (plasterboard on wooden frame). Insts quite good but need a little help. I located centre point on shower wall and drilled hole using 8mm drill (with tiles use special pointed blade drill bit) and altho' plug went in the screw was very hard to drive fully home. Ideally holes should be made using 8.5mm masonry bit - a rarity in most kits. Rather than damage screw's cross-head I removed it and using a 5mm metal drill bit reamed out centre of plug. This enabled screw to bed home properly with ease. After securing the centre fixing of top row of 3, I rotated backing plate until spirit-levelled and completed second top fixing. Satisfied with level of top of plate, I secured both fixings tightly and marked and completed the remaining 1 at top and 2 at bottom fixings. One problem concerns level/flatness of wall itself, otherwise grub-screws at bottom of seat will not secure properly; any gap needs to be taken-up with metal washers inserted between tile face and rear of metal plate.

This is excellent, and comes with all the necessary screws to fit (I don't recall if this came with rawl plugs as well, sorry). It was pretty straightforward to fit (and has basic instructions).There's a solid metal plate for fixing to the wall, then you simply hang the seat unit up over it and fix it into place with the supplied grub screws. It went up very quickly.My wife is very happy now being able to shower by herself as the seat feel stable and comfortable, and looks pretty good too.

Great seat but please be aware you can not put this on a hollow wall even if it is tiled my bulider had to make a hole in the wall and add wood behind the seat before fitting but all round a great sturdy well made seat if fitted righ i am disabled but still young so wanted to replace my bath board seat for somthing more discreet and not so disabled looking this is perfect and looks and folds away so just looks like a normal shower seat really happy

Good product, bugger to fit if its close to bath rim. The allen screws that clamp the seat to the wall bracket are underneath the the housingyou need a gap between the seat and bath to get the allen key in, then its half a turn at a time to tighten the screws. Phew!

It seems ok. Plumber used his own better screws which were much larger so made it more secure than it would have been.Not exactly amazing sturdy quality but pray it will be secure for my 90 year old mum.Don’t rely on screws etc that come with it. My plumber has done a good job with it thankfully

easy to fit. Being a floating stool it means there are no legs to kick away. I learnt that one from my neighbour who keeps catching the two legs at the front of his. This one is good quality and I've installed it ready for the future when I will be needing it, along with grab handles to pull myself up. The height is important, not too high so I can't wash my feet and not too low so that I have to fall onto it.
