Although I usually wear a large and had to return for XL the seller handled everything great. I got the XL helmet in right away and it fits great! The quality of this helmet is second to none I can't wait to break it in.

My son races and has had multiple helmets he wrecked in. Could always see the damage inside and knew helmet worked bc he was not hurt—so buy new helmet. Got this DC-10 (diff graphics) at a National event and he raced it for several months—had a nasty wreck last weekend. No broken bones or injury except a concussion with a subdural hematoma. I know no helmet can 100% protect from this but I was shocked to inspect the helmet—-no evidence of a crash—no crushed foam or any sign it was wrecked or did it’s job! My son’s head took the brunt of this crash. Comparing his last wrecked helmet to this one you can see where the thick foam was crushed in (where it protected him). This one has gray foam that’s harder and not as thick. None of it is crushed or damaged. We will never buy a Bell again. I’m so upset that this head injury could have been prevented.

Note: This is only a 61cm - 62 cm helmet, very tight in the cheeks. I was surprised by the awesome quality of the bag it comes in!
