Far exceeded expectations! This is a genuinely well-designed and well made product. A beautifully simple and well executed idea solidly made from good quality card of a sufficient weight and thickness that means it's likely to withstand plenty of use. Even comes with a genuinely useful booklet describing a range of chess moves that even experienced players may find useful.When you're done or even when you're half way through a game, the whole thing folds up and slides into a conveniently book-sized box that you can keep on the shelf for next time. Brilliant!

A very nice an well made item which was bought as a present.

Board needs to be constructed precisely for this to work, unfortunately it wasn’t. Warps when closing, pieces fall out on opening, generally flimsy. Good novelty, impractical to use.

Good idea but not very practical to play with unless you are travelling and need stability for the pieces when playing.Wife saw that product on dragons den and wanted to try it.Quality seems OK ( cardboard ) and should do the trick when playing on the go.Irritating to play at home though dur to the pieces being "enclosed" to prevent them from falling when moving.

The only thing stopping me from giving 5* is the puzzles at the back of the book1 the answers are directly below the puzzle I would prefer on a different page2 the answers are in chess notation which is not talk in the book I know chess notation but some people might not be able to understand it
