Straps are ineffective and quickly come loose.Wouldn’t recommend this product.

Spikes
Put the spikes on no problem but the straps are shocking.Snapped as soon as i put them over my shoes.Very poor design.Waste of money dont buy.

Straps are absolutely useless don't even entertain trying to use them. The spikes and plates themselves are fine and seem study enough. I had an old pair of trainers which I gorilla glued in place finishing with strong tape wrapped around. Fashion crime aside they work great (without straps)

Straps are useless, spikes are fine
Short story - spend a bit more for better quality.The spikes themselves are fine, seem to be quite robust and are simple to assemble without any instructions (spanner included which is good).The straps are useless. Every few steps they came loose until after all of 10 minutes the stitching unravelled and one of the buckles just fell off.Was going to return them but, despite it being free delivery when buying, I'll have to pay for return postage even though return is due to poor quality of the product.So I'll keep them and fashion an alternative way of securing them to old trainers, maybe I'll try gorilla glue like another buyer suggested.In summary, spikes fine but straps are useless, which seems (in hindsight) to be a theme running through the reviews.

Poor quality straps - they keep falling off!
The straps have plastic buckles which don’t grip the straps well enough, so they keep coming loose and falling off your feet.

Spikes the soil but loosen too easily
This item would be very effective but there are two straps that connect the platform to sole of each shoe (one near the toe and other to the heel). The strap that holds the platform to the heel is too short and often tends to work itself loose.
