Great for telescope eyepieces
I use these on the lowest setting for keeping my 2" telescope eyepieces from dewing up and they work great. They seem to draw about 0.7A @12V or about 8W when cycled ON. But they are only drawing power occasionally.

Does the job.
Temperature and hence power is controlled by a long duration duty cycle. So, regardless of temperature setting, when it's on, it is on for more than 40seconds at a time, (lowest-setting, @room temp, unmounted). So there is no "lower average power" at the lower temperature settings. Current is around 1.5A@5V and 7.5W. Get a dedicated USB supply with sufficient ratings..

Works great!
Keeps dew from forming on your lens when shooting DSO or Star Trails over the course of a few hours in declining temps. Good build quality. Came with a nice pouch for storage. Really happy with how it's performed.

Heater worked very well in keeping the dew off or a bicep warm :)

Wish I had bought this sooner!
I live in SW Florida. I can't leave my camera bag in my car overnight, so my lenses fog up when I go outside. I put this on in the morning and then plug into my car usb on way to where I am going to shoot. No more missing shots due to a fogged up lens!
