You can see where they've peed
I like this white pellet litter because it is lightweight and you can see exactly where the bunnies have peed and remove it. It also does not have the odor of the recycled paper pellet litter. But I do not like that there are small white particles that get all over the place and make a mess. I wish it was less crumbly. I'm afraid it clings to their fur and they might ingest it. Every litter has pros and cons. I've tried most of them.

Not as absorbent at pine pellets
Use it for my rabbit but is not as absorbent as the pine pellets and doesn’t control smell either

BEYOND PREMIUM and my New Go-To Pet Bedding!
I love animals, and I have a guinea pig and a hamster. Both animals are best suited to indoor living, and while they are adorable, their urine waste produces an unpleasant odor. In order to keep odor at a minimum, I have used a competitor's paper pellet litter that works well for about three days before it needs to be changed. While I like the competitor's bedding for quality and for the fact that it is made in the western world where stringent manufacturing standards are in place, I now prefer Small Pet Select for its superior quality and for being made in USA. As an American, I like to support jobs in my homeland. To test the product claim about odor control, I have been using Small Pet Select in my pets' habitats for a week, and there is absolutely NO ODOR of urine. This is the only bedding product that 100% lives up to this commonly used selling point. Further, it produces no dust to get trapped in human and animal-companion respiratory tracts. Plus, my guinea pig enjoys nibbling on the clean pellets that contain safe ingredients and are not a cause for concern about my pet's well-being.I like the way the product is packaged in an easy-to-open box with a double lid. The litter is easy to access, and its container stores nicely in a closet. The competitor's product is packaged in a paper bag that is a bit difficult to handle at 30 L and is priced at $24.00 (USD). The package is awkward to handle, so I throw it over my shoulder when I purchase it at a local feed store. The Small Pet Select product's weight is 35L, and the price is anywhere from $8.00 to $10.00 higher. However, this product requires less frequent changing and--for this reason--is at least as economical as the competitor's product. Finally, I love the fact that Small Pet Select is environmentally friendly. It can be safely composted. Because it is great for the garden, it needn't add to the solid waste already overtaxing our landfills.I cannot comment on its odor control for fecal waste. However, except for Pygmy Hedgehogs and ferrets--which I have never owned--rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and chinchillas produce odorless fecal pellets. If you have animals that produce odorless droppings, Small Pet Select is the perfect bedding for them. I am looking forward to trying their other soft bedding products as well.

Awesome litter
**update 3/5/23**Adding a star today to reflect the superior results I had this past week of zero daily maintenance and no complete litter change which is what I usually do.4 full grown litter trained buns share this box (one of three) the pics (not pretty I know) show how the pellets change their color w/urine - they typically go in corners. It’s has proven to be way more absorbent than my pine pellets as well as odor free. Now I will admit I would still do daily maintenance but for review purposes I let it go for a week.-original review 4 stars-I have 4 buns that are litter box trained. I usually use wood pellets for their litter. I like & dislike the white color for litter; it’s easy to see the soiled areas which I can scoop out easily. It’s pretty absorbent & I was surprised that it didn’t smell bad quickly. I do keep up w/it everyday but do complete litter changes 2x a week. I think it would depend on how your animal uses the litter & how often you maintain it. Overall I’m pleased with this litter and would purchase it again.

Great for small caged pets
I have a trio of Guinea Pigs and I do everything possible to keep them happy and comfortable. From an extremely large pen to individual hiding houses they have plenty to work with. I used to use soft shredded paper for their special relief area but recently tried the Small Pet Select - Premium White Paper Pellet bedding. I line their pen with regular hay and their bathroom corner with the pellet paper bedding. The pellets are more absorbent that the shredded paper and don't get as nasty. They also help to keep odors down to a nearly non-existent level. It's so much easier to clean up the area of their enclosure when using the pellets. I honestly feel they like the pellets better than the shredded paper as well. The box comes with 35 Liters of pellets and should last quite a few weeks. These pellets are great for Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Hampsters, Rats and Mice. So stop using hay or shredded paper in your pets cage or enclosure and make the switch to cleaner, more efficient pellet paper.

Mostly positive for a hamster, but there are things to know
I like how this looks in my hamster's cage. One thing I really like is that it doesn't have an odor. Some beddings I have used smell worse than the hamster's business, and this doesn't. It's a large box and will last a while. One possible issue is that if you have a little creature that enjoys burrowing, this doesn't work well for that. It works in places that just need a surface covering, but for burrowing another type of bedding is needed as this just collapses in on itself immediately. My hamster's cage is custom built, and the sides open up. Because this is pellets, they have a tendency to roll around easily and get all over if the side of the cage is opened, and even get into the door hinge making it difficult to close back up again. This likely won't be an issue for most people.
