Well it was a good idea at the time but that time has passed so this tool has gone to where all tools go to die. He had such a great idea and was ready to use it and it was the exact one he’s been looking for. Ten to one if I ask him where it is he won’t have a clear

Product not tested for weight specs
Was witching in sone logs I'm on a time crunch for before we lose all snow on the ground completely... there's no possible way this 10 ft chunk of maple is anywhere even close to 4 ton even with digging into the dirt likebitbwas doingbto me slightly I look down to find I'm at the end of my span and time to release and rehook and this is wat I look back at handle completely twisted off centering both the ratcheting latches on either side of the gear drum I will manage to try to bend back eith best I can but I'd suggest whoever anaxon is getting there conealongs threw shoukd be alil morebsure there being tested for the weight specs there posted on for I got theb4 ton thinking it would well surpass the weight I'd be pulling in with these logs I coulda hoped for more rugged and more durable... not impressed update: was able to bend it back into place but still skips every once and awile and snags on release sometimes but back to working order

Cable is frayed at the entrance to the gear. Handle grip is loose. Under daily heavy use it might last me a month. But hay it was $30 cheaper then the last one I bought at ORiellys 6 months ago.

Build seems questionable and not easy to use. Cable is also far too short.

Puller is unsafe under load.
Product used to place tension on 12" diameter pine tree measured at base. Product connected to pull rope tied at 25 feet height to tree. At approximately 3500lbs tension pull on tree, locking pawl to spool would not engage automatically thus spool gear tries to unspool if handle released. Observing the device while using at less than half of rated capacity noticed frame and attachment too spool distorted enough to prevent pawl spool lock from moving to lock spool gear. Noted pawl lock will not fully deploy even without load applied. Pawl can be engaged with firm hand pressure applied. Device is unsafe with pawl not securing gear spool under load. Pawl spring is inadequate.to move pawl to lock spool
