Finishing touch
Bought as a finishing touch to edge the wood worktop which abuts the high-performance (hot!) cooker. Although it doesn’t go quite all the way to the back of the worktop (eg the strip could be longer) we don’t notice it. It looks as good as when we bought it, six months’ on.

Not an oven gap filler
although described as a gap filler it is actually just edge trim, not fit for purpose and a waste of money if you want to fill a gap between stove top and work surface.

Does not cover both sides of the gap
Can't see how this can stop food spilling down the side of the oven. It should overlap with the oven and the counter. This only covers one side still leaving a gap.
