Quite useful for legacy interface breakout
Useful, no problems. The side facing breakouts were handy for my needs. Have used to grab RS422 and 485 between terminal and end devices with no problems.

Can get it to work
I can use this for it's intended purpose, but it took a lot of mechanical work to get it connected. It has screw posts on both sides of both connectors, but if you're trying to connect to another DB9 connector that also has posts, they butt up against each other and prevent connecting. Definitely a design flaw.

No mounting holes
Work fine but, no way to bolt it to anything. Exposed conductors on the bottom. I had to wrap one in tape to keep it from shorting to a chassis.
