I would definitely buy again
I purchased this for my chicken coop to keep air flow. The fan easily ventilates the interior of the 7x8 coop. When turned on the louvres open and is plenty powerful for the space. I also like that it is not loud at all and doesn’t startle the chickens. You can run it by just plugging it in or use the temperature and humidity control, I did not use this part yet because it is still winter.I don’t think I will need the auto settings until the warmer weather arrives. The installation was easy just mount with the included hardware which attaches to the 4 corners.I have 3 other coops that I am considering purchasing different sizes.I think it was exactly what I needed and a great value. It also is not large and unattractive, it fits in perfectly. It is also built well.

Air flow on point
Simple and easy to install! I placed mine in a chicken coop and can have it set to turn off and on at certain temps. The air flow it draws really makes a huge difference.

Surprisingly good quality
10” fan model. The quality of this fan seems very good. The controller is easy to set up and use, and it moves a lot of air. There are 10 speeds on the fan. You set up the speed you want when you first program it. You can program it to automatically turn on and off with either temperature and / or humidity. I deducted a star for two reasons. First, when the fan is on the highest speed, 10, the louvers open up a little less than half way. If you left them up with your hands, the fan suddenly moves a lot more air. They should open better than they do. Also, on the side with the louvers, there is no protection from getting your fingers into the fan blade. The louvers can be opened wide enough to stick your entire hand in. In my case, I’m using this as a ventilation fan in our chicken coop, blowing from their enclosed area, into another room with a roof on it, so I’m not worried about the louvers protecting the outside from rain or other elements. Also, this is going up against a tight chicken wire mesh so I just took the louvers off and it works great, and no chance of little fingers getting caught in the fan blade. It is a great fan though.

Love it. Chickens are very happy
I am using this in a 12’x8’ chicken coop with a peak roof of 12 feet. I mounted it high up on the gable and it works perfectly.Don’t understand the low quality reviews. This is not like a whole house attic fan.The fan can operate by temp, humidity, timer, etc. Or simply on or off.The controller is fairly easy to program and the louvers work as they should closing off when fan is off.I’ve been running it on and off for past few days to insure all is working correctly and no issues.Easy install as well.If it fails prematurely I’ll come back and update my review.

great for chicken coop!
We purchased this to remove heat from our chicken coop. Works great, quiet when running. Thermostat works great! We are purchasing two more for our greenhouse.

What a game changer!
I had a small solar fan in my greenhouse/hoop house for a year now. While it worked, it did not do the job completely. So, this year I purchased this fan for the top end of my greenhouse, and it is great! It runs off of electricity but is controlled by a thermostat. What that means is that it only runs when needed and because this is a 10" fan, it moves hot air quickly. Overheating a greenhouse means that you have fried plants. My greenhouse is actually a hoop house, and the heat gets trapped up at the top of this. The sides of the hoop house roll up to control the heat, but it does not move the heat at the top. This fan will turn on when the upper heat registers my set value and will disperse that upper heat away from the back of my hoop house until the temperature drops back down below my set max range. This has the capabilities to control both the upper and lower heat range, humidity and it even has an alarm for when the heat gets really high. It is durable and has lovers on the outside to prevent rain, snow and bugs from getting inside the greenhouse. It also has different speeds that you can control to ensure your greenhouse is functioning properly.

Defective screen
Finally installed. The fan works, but I can't read the control screen - it is extremely dim. I wonder if mine is defective. I have messaged the seller.

If only the Control panel were brighter
Control panel is quite dim even on highest setting. Otherwise, it seems like a good unit. Probably OK in an attic but not so good in a greenhouse.
