Assembly is a little time consuming but it's worth the results. I had birds that were making a mess on my entryway and I needed something to keep them away. These sit on the ledge perfectly and are lightweight. Install took maybe 5 minutes, each link connects to the next. Also, you can't even see them from the front of the house. No birds building nests since I installed these, and I haven't even seen any flying around my doorway.

These spikes are the perfect solution to keeping the birds from nesting above our exterior doors. We have a recessed transom window above our doors that mourning doves wanted to claim for their home for a while. I tried putting ty wraps sticking out of a board but that didn't work. Then I saw these and they work beautifully. Well made and easy to assemble. Great value for the quantity that you receive.

Prepare to sit and enjoy a favorite beverage for a good while as it will take time to insert all the metal spikes. Once in, they are solid. Directions aren't clear on this but the metal spikes parallel with the frame go in first, perpendicular to the frame come after. frames come with a notch approximately every two inches. This is convenient if you need to break the frame to make a short section so you don't need a saw or shears. Installed mine standing straight up on joists in an outdoor gazebo. Used double-sided tape which was one of the methods presented in instructions. Works fine and should be okay given that it is under a roof ledge so no worries about rain/wind.

No more mess from birds! I am very pleased with this product.

They required assembly which took about 45 minutes. You have to put each wire through the plastic brace one by one, and it is NOT easy. I had to use pliers.
