Great!
I just got this, and made two of the three types of tonic syrup right away. Easy to do (get a digital kitchen scale if you don't have one), makes a lot more than I thought it would, and it's fun. For anybody who's into artisanal cocktails, it's a no-brainer and would make a great gift. The nicest thing is that it gives you the individual ingredients, so if you really want to make more, you could buy the ingredients separately later and make as much as you want. Given the cost of good tonic water and/or syrup, this is a great value.

A lot of fun with tasty results
I'm not a big gin fan but I do love making things from scratch. And one of my son in laws loves handcrafted cocktails. I thought this would be a cool kit for us to try.The instructions are well though out for beginners and give room to experiment or elaborate on the basic recipes/techniques once you've gotten the basics down. We started with the three concoctions they gave us.My son in law tried the different resulting tonics with gin and thought they were all interesting and would be good for try out on company. My daughter and I did some "mocktails" that were fun. Since you're making a syrup you can either mix it in a larger bottle or just add to your glass of whatever. The spiced tonic is my favorite of the three. Mixed with non alcoholic cider over crushed ice it's a mocktail that doesn't have me caring a bit that it's not alcoholic. I will probably try these with vodka at some point as I do prefer that to gin.Regardless of how we use the results, the process itself was fun and educational, very entertaining.

Interesting mix of flavors
I wanted the Tonic Water Making Kit by OurHands because I've recently been into making cocktails at home and it's always fun to make things from scratch. The box lets you make 3 different types of tonics. Personally I liked the pink and spiced tonic the most. The best part is it makes a large amount of syrup that when diluted makes a pretty large amount of each flavor. I was surprised to find that the ingredients weren't separated out by tonic flavor, but just included in the package and you need to measure it out yourself. It adds a little bit more involvement to the process. I would definitely buy again.

Easy Kit
As someone that has always been intrigued by making things totally from scratch, at one point I purchased a bag of the bark that is used in tonic water, cinchona bark.As is often the case, I never got around to it and eventually threw it out when moving. But that didn't happen with this kit, because the kit itself makes you excited to make it and it contains everything you need for three different recipes of tonic water.I tried the rose recipe, and used it with my Limited addition Hendricks Floral Adora gin.Talk about a garden overload! But since I love florals it was fantastic. Also used it with the regular Hendricks, which actually has a very faint whisper of rose in it, and I think that would be more palatable for most people.Great way to get started on making your own tonic waters, and give you inspiration and expanding the wonderful botanicals included in this kit.Very highly recommended it

Neat kit; missing citric acid
This is a really awesome tonic-making kit, but mine was missing the citric acid. The manufacturer includes a card in the box to let you k ow to reach out if something is missing, so I’m sure it would’t have been a problem to get it replaced, but I had some around the house, and I used it to make the rose pink tonic. The tonic water came out really nicely, and was very fragrant. I can’t wait to try all of the other flavors!

Really good tonic water
I love gin and tonics so when I saw the ability to make my own tonic water I figured I would give it a shot and got this. It arrived just fine with no defects that I could see. Getting it out they give you all the spices, a funnel, a strainer, and a cloth strainer. I followed the recipe for the indian tonic first as that was the first one in the book. It does take a minute and you arent making tonic water but more a syrup you add to club soda. On sat I was sitting at home and decided I wanted a gin and tonic so I used the syrup mixed with club soda and then my gin and this water was way better than store-bought. All in all, if you are a fan of stuff that uses tonic water this is a really neat kit and you can make some tasty water.

Great for gin lover
I don’t usually drink gin and tonic, but I do have a gin lover in my life so we made this up for cocktail night. The kit has almost everything you need (aside from sugar, water and a jar) and three different recipes. I wish the baggies were resealable, but we solved that with some snack sized baggies. This kit would make a fun gift along with a bottle of gin.
