Our toddler, who is not ready for a big boy bed but too big for a travel crib, loves this pop up portable sleep space. The challenge is how to pad it, so plan ahead to get what ever pad you need inserted. We have a foam Hicapop fold up mattress but it still had space for more padding which we filled in with rolled up blankets at the top and the bottom. All in all, it's a fantastic spot for our 2 year old who willingly crawls in and wants the flaps down! Custom decorate with your toddler's favorite books and stuffed animals/toys for max success. The tent folds up small (18 inch diameter and 2 inch thick) but your padding, blankets and toys will take up way more space. It's also very light weight but stays up with the stakes inserted. PS we tried a blow up mattress and they are not good for active jumpy toddlers.

Good concept but very hard to insert stick supports. I’m a general contractor and couldn’t easily do it by hand, ultimately had to use pliers. The manufacturer should not make the whole section sleeved to hold the stick supports in so there can be more flex. Will be returning for a different type that assembles more easily.

My son is autistic, this bed tent has been amazing for him. He is five and we use the toddler mattress size. I recently traveled with it. It is very easy to put up and take down. Don’t hesitate especially if your kid is autistic it is a must have now for us!

My granddaughter absolutely loves her bed tent! She will be 3 in 3 months and is finally sleeping in her own bed most of the time. She puts herself to bed and loves to just hang out in her tent. I am so glad that I bought it for her.
