NewLife Spectrum Cichlid 300g

First of I have Over 30 African Cichlids and I have to say MY FISH ARE 210% HAPPIER WITH THIS FOOD. THEY LOVE IT!!!!!!I really think just after a week I already see a difference in the color. I really don't know if its just me, But others see it to.They have been more active since being on this food, and a lot less is being wasted. My fish come to the glass wanting more.I would and WILL recommend to ANYONE who want to see a good change in there fish. (Happier, more active, Vibrant colors, All together HEALTHIER.8.8counce is ALOT. I was thinking I would go through this fast. BUT Its ALLOT. and for the Price you cant beat it.At Petco its $19.99.I would Buy this and try it as I did you will love this as well...

Good food for Cichlids! A local fish store owner recommend this food to me years ago & said it's some of the best for Cichlids. She said it keeps them healthy, happy and enhances their colors. I have used it ever since with great results! This is a way better price than the pet store but It is 250g not the 300g that the title says.

My mixed mbuna gobble this stuff up. I also feed OSI's spirulina flake. Nice to have the mix of flake and pellet in the feeding frenzy, as well as some variety for the fish diet, but they seem to go after this food with a little more vigor. Plenty of food, lasts a long time. Pellet size was a little smaller than I expected; might go with the larger size next time. Fish eat it quickly, but I feel like it would be easier deliver more food more quickly without it reaching bottom with a larger pellet size. Still, this works fine, particularly for mbuna that haven't reached full size.

My fish like this food ,especially the bottom feeders ,clown loach's, cory's & synodontis. The price is right ,it's easy to handle, and nothing is left behind, they gobble up everything. I'll keep feeding this food cause it's high quality & healthy choice for the fish.

We love the combination we've worked out for our 60gal tropical community (freshwater) tank. With a mix of acei and yellow lab cichlids, rainbow shark, corydoras, guarami, angels, and silver dollars, this and the NLS Thera +A regular formula, supplementing with duckweed and frozen brine shrimp, this has worked out great. We haven't lost a fish in months, and our guys are growing more colorful by the day. This food has so few additives and fillers that there isn't nearly as much waste product as with some of the other petstore food. Plus, on amazon it's a bargain. This can lasts us maybe 6 months, for our well-populated tank.

My one star rating is for this order, not the quality of the NLS product, which my cichlids love and thrive on. I have ordered this product several times in the past, and have had no issues. However, this time the safety seal was unattached, and the pellets inside were the .5mm version, not the 1mm as stated in the item description and on the label. I am returning this, and I thank Amazon for the full credit including return shipping.

I'm a fish amateur, so I won't go too in depth on the benefits of this food. My 12 Cichilds enjoy this food, it is the main one I give to them. It takes a minute for the kernels to soften up so they kind of play with them until then. They find this easier than my floating foods, so I use it more often. I would recommend this to any Cichild owner because I feel it was a good value and my fish like it.

Love this food for my cichlids. Happy and healthy for years. It comes as a 250 gram package not 300 as it states on the site. Thought I had found a better deal but it was the same 250 as before. Did not come as prime 2 day shipping either. Took 4 days.
