Comprehensive and interesting
Informative on many gut conditions. The recipes seem very interesting although may require more preparation than i was hoping. I would reccomend because it has many many recipes and I feel that nothing is missing, it includes breakfast lunch dinner snack recipes and so many more 😋

Diets another way avoiding problems.
This has been a big help to my husband as he has had a problem with his stomach after taking a course of antibiotics, this has shown him alternatives that could be avoided in his diet.

Good book
Easy to follow

Hard to follow
The recipe's will have a paragraph on why it tastes so amazing and they try and make it sound interesting, but then the actual method is similarly written which I found hard to follow. With many of the recipes there was useful information missing and I had to look on the internet to fill the gaps. Most of my low fodmap recipes that I ended up using came from the internet, not from this book. Avoid.

Uncomfortable format
The book is very American and I found the layout of the recipes very uncomfortable - they’re spread over 3-4 pages with images of specific ingredients rather than the food itself. I’ve cooked one recipe from the book and it tasted fine but served lots of people and the portions are hard to cut down to two or three. Wouldn’t recommend.
