FoodSaver Elite All-in-One Liquid+™ Vacuum Sealer with Bags

I am a kitchen gadget queen and purchased this as a replacement for an older Foodsaver that was constantly frustrating me with its inability to seal as many times as I needed it to without having to let it cool down in between seals.THIS WAS THE BEST UPGRADE! It took a little getting used to in terms of sealing the bags before cutting them but now that I'm used to it I find it creates a very nice flow to packaging whatever we are using it for. The liquid setting is very impressive and I've not had any problems sealing anything following the instructions and tips provided in the manual.If you are like us and prefer to purchase in bulk to save money do yourself a favor and invest in this machine!

I really like the design of this machine. Having the point of insertion of the bag be up off the countertop not only allows you to seal bags filled with liquids but also makes wrangling larger pieces of meat easier. The automatic bag detection lets you use both hands to get the bag into position which helps to avoid wrinkles and failed seals. Even though it seems more imposing sitting on the counter I don't think the footprint is actually any bigger than my older "lay down" model.

This machine is great when it works. I had to replace it three times before I got the one that works properly. It was annoying having to send it back twice. But now this one seems to be working properly and I love sealing all my freezer items air tight.

This is my 3rd food savor but each one has been a different model. This one has some great features and it's alot easier. It's nice to have when you have leftovers or want to store food for alot longet time. Highly recommend!

We bought the Food Saver Elite All-in-One Liquid+ to replace our 3 or 4 year old Food saver that finally stopped working. We were a bit excited that the prospect of being able to have an easier way to bag the soups and sauces we make often. Took it out of the box and got it all set up, first thing that did not pass the smell test is there is no way to keep the top lid closes when not in use, no way to lock it for storage. That was a minor issue, we could have worked around. So, we moved on to the liquid settings and when you would hit seal, as it would start the process it let more and more air in until the seal was complete. We tried it over and over with the same results. It did not matter the setting we used, every single time it let air creep in during the sealing process. Add to that the suction took almost twice as longs as our old FM3941 did. We tried the hand held part of it and it did not to work at all. We tried both the marinating dish and on the zipper bags, it just didn't work right out of the box. It went back the next day. I wanted this to be good, it's just not. I like to end on a good note, the auto bag detection worked well.

We are longtime fans of Food Saver. We've had many of the years and this is just the latest one. We got this one to go with our professional Food Saver model because it does "wet" items. It takes a little getting used to but once you get the hang of it, it goes swimmingly along and next thing you know, you're done, and your freezer is filled. I like how the machine "grabs" the bag, then you chose vacuum or seal and then when it is done it spits it out at you, not really, it just releases the bag and viola, easy peasy. It is a real workhorse, and I cannot wait for deer season this year to really put it through its paces.

My old foodsaver finally gave out after 12 years. I read the reviews and decided this was the one for me. Loved how it sat, not having a bag with liquid trying to lay flat while the machine did its job was a priority.The one major flaw is the heat seal. It gets too hot. Meaning you have to let it cool off in between bags. This is a problem if you’re repackaging bulk meat etc.Other than the one issue this thing is great. It’s so quiet compared to my old one that it’s easy to think it’s not doing its job.The handheld device is also a great feature. I only had a hose attachment previously and rarely used it. I use the handheld device and the resealable bags frequently now.

With this latest addition to my kitchen, today I put ears of our corn in the freezer ready to pull out for our granddaughter as soon as she looses her braces. I also froze 2 gallons of fresh tomato sauce made with our vine riped tomatoes. The ease of using it with either wet or dry ingredients sold me on this unit. Extra bags are easy enough to purchase anywhere and I can even reuse the large ones. I leave mine on the counter for the reminder that it is right there and I can use it with very little effort.
