Excellent workbench
I bought this for wood carving especially relief carving and chip carving and general wood work. This bench is great value for money and I am very happy with it. It is easy to assemble alone and the quality of the finish is very good. It did arrive with a little damage although this was probably caused during the delivery process but it is still fully functional and a perfect workbench for my needs.

An Excellent Bit Of Kit!
Like most people I did wonder about the quality and sturdiness of this workbench because I do like to see the product in real life before buying... But I am so pleased I bought it!Some reviews mentioned that some of the parts were made from MDF... Mine has no MDF parts. It was very easy to put together and took me about 30 minutes to complete on my own.The only thing I would point out is that there are no pilot holes for screwing the drawers together, which would have been handy, but was easy enough to do.I had to contact the seller, because the workbench comes in 2 boxes and I only received one (I think this was the delivery company rather than the seller at fault) ... Sharna, sorted it out immediately and I received the second box.Overall; A very sturdy workbench at a very reasonable price that I can highly recommend, and excellent customer service!

EXCELLENT PIECE OF KIT
I was very wary when I ordered this bench as it had no review but I needn't have worried as I am totally delighted with this product.PACKAGING. Arrived ahead of schedule, well packed and the components well protected. Very quickly established all parts present from the instructions manifest. Nothing damaged.ASSEMBLY. 1hr 50mins from start of opening box to bench in its final position and checked for operation. Everything went together like a dream. No re-re-bores for Dowell, no cross threads and the only tool I needed from from my Arsenal was a cross head screwdriver. Every componant was numbered and labeled and actually matched the instructions. The slight downside is that if you are not an experienced flat packer, the instructions may need a bit of working out but even so, you will get there in the end.FINISHED PRODUCT. Built to last, tough, durable and excellent quality. Mainly though, it is fit for purpose at a good price and I would recommend this bench to anyone.CONCLUSION. An excellent piece of kit and a must addition to any workshop.

An excellent product
This is an excellent product, solid and well built. I was able to assemble it on my own without too much difficulty, although it would have helped had someone been able to help initially if only to hold the sides as the base was fitted. The assembly instructions are clear, methodical and relatively easy to follow. The finished product is robust and ideal for purpose. I have no hesitation in highly recommending it.

Relatively cheap for a reason.
So I've had this just shy of 2 years. New it really looked quite good, especially for the price but it has some serious issues.First the dog holes are smaller than standard and the supplied pegs are a bit loose. Good for a planing stop but not much else.Second if you are using hand tools you are going to need to bolt the top to something solid when planing. I put a block on the wall either side so as to support the bench with the shed wall. Then there is the vice. Racking is terrible, very shallow and the handle occasionally sticks up over the working surface. As I write this I have just tightened the vice down to cut a bit of scrap and the entire bench split which brings me to the next issue. It is technically hardwood but there is almost more glue holding the tiny scraps or hardwood together than there is actual wood.I'm a light user, woodworking is my occasional hobby so this bench has been stored in a dry warm(ish) shed and used a few dozen times. If you buy this I would recommend you firdt use it to build a propper bench.

Great bench for the money
Great bench for the money. Sturdy and a nice size, drawers are great and vice is ok. Knocked a star off because mines came with 6 different areas of damage, knocks and dents around the top edges. Not the end of the world but not expected from a new product.
