I have taken the Hiearcool Waterproof Phone Pouch on a couple of beach trips and on a kayaking adventure. Overall, I’m really happy with it. It kept my iPhone 15 bone dry, which is the most important thing. Here’s the good, the not-so-good, and a few tips to help you decide if this is right for you:The Good:Peace of Mind: The best part about this pouch is that I could take my phone with me instead of leaving it unattended on the beach or in a bag. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, so it didn’t feel like a hassle to bring along.Dry Hands, Better Pics: I loved that I could take my phone out of the pouch with dry hands to snap higher-quality photos. It’s the best of both worlds—protection when you need it and easy access when you don’t.The Not-So-Good:Blurry Photos in Splash Zones: If water is splashing all over the pouch, your pictures might come out a bit blurry. Mine did, but hey, at least my phone stayed dry!Underwater Use Concerns: I saw reviews about leaks when fully submerged. I didn’t try using it underwater. Item was great for keeping phone dry for some water activities, but I would NOT recommend for snorkeling if you plan to use your touch screen. Once you take the phone underwater, the touch screen buttons do not respond at all. You must use your phone’s side buttons to take photos. Also, even though the touch screen would not respond underwater, my phone would randomly switch from photo to cinematic or portrait without me doing so. Unfortunately I could not change it back until lifting out of water and changing it back. I found it extremely frustrating for snorkeling.Outside is snorkeling, it was great for above water activites such as taking photos on a river rafting trip.

I used this at Victoria Falls for two days with great success. It is easy to open and close, lightweight, and my use had no indication of condensation or moisture within the bag. Items within a double bagged backpack which was under a raincoat were damp but my phone was completely dry. My photos and videos look as if the phone's lens was exposed and videos still had typical sound quality. There is a learning curve to make sure you press firmly enough when taking photos but it's not a detraction of the product. When I crossed into Zambia, one of the border guards tried to convince me to sell it to him.

I picked these up after reading about things you need to pack on trip to Hawaii. These not only protect your phone but allow you to use your phone in the pool or on the beach. I was able to take videos of my granddaughter while in the pool and wading in the surf. They kept my phone dry and I could safely carry it wherever I went. The clear case allows you to access your phone anywhere in or out of the water. The lanyard is strong and securely attaches to the case. If you plan to go to the beach or the poolside, you need to get these phone pouches! I am glad I did!
