Plenty of key features
I wanted one of these after seeing another group use them on their tripods. There are a few features about this one that make it really good.First, it's got a smooth interior which makes it easy to clean. I hike for my landscape photography, and if I find myself using this to hold rocks or other readily available stuff for weight to stabilize my tripod, I know I can clean it easily for when I use it to hold gear.Second, the hook-loop fasteners on it are coarse. This means they're not likely to fuzz up and get clogged, which decreases their ability to grip effectively. The loops are long enough to wrap around a really thick tripod leg. They held well when I secured an eleven-pound weight to the bag (see below).Third, there's a hook on the bottom which is perfect for hanging weight bags. Not only is it wide and flat, meaning you can hang something with a strap from this hook, but it's also METAL and stitched on securely. That means it'll hold weight, even in the cold. I hung at 11-pound production sandbag from it, and I didn't have to worry about whether the hook could handle it. The hook was the perfect size for the 1" wide nylon strap on the bag.I use a photo tripod with a center post sticking down, and I wasn't sure if that would be in the way of this accessory. Thankfully, it's wide enough that it attaches far down the tripod legs, out of the way of that center post. Even so, I could just raise post a bit if it had been an issue...but it's not. This accessory is in my tripod bag now, and it's going wherever my sticks go.

If you shoot video or photos on a tripod a lot, you NEED this!
100/100As other reviewers have discussed, the uses for this are myriad. I’ve used them a zillion times on commercial shoots and can’t imagine using a tripod without one.THIS bag is really nice. The material seems to be a durable heavy weight fabric that should wear well over time. The straps and such are well sewn and attached as well.Once you use one, you’ll never be without one again.Ultimately, is it worth the price? Yes.

Perfect for videographers using light weight travel tripods
I pride myself on portability, efficiency, and functionality on my video shoots. Although my travel tripods are rugged, they are lightweight and at times produce micro jitters in my footage. This anchor bag helps to eliminate all of that. It's noted to hold rocks, but I honestly put anything of weight that I could find while on set and it holds it rock solid. It's the little accessories like these that make the difference between pros and amateurs with cameras. Made of High-quality material, super strong velcro leg straps that can set up in seconds. An absolute must-have for novices and seasoned professionals.

Not just for being a weight anchor
The media could not be loaded. I use portable power stations when I shoot and its kinda hard to keep them where I need them.. Last event I was on I actually Velcroed the thing to my light stand. Now I have a way to just keep it on my camera. I have been looking for a tripod shelf that does what this does and I can keep this on my tripod when I put it away . So convenient. It is durable and very adjustable. I am going to invest in at least 3 more for my other tripods so I can have a nice base for my camera to hold work tools like extra batteries and the like so its not sitting on the floor and just easier on the back and old knees. It has plenty of space and a nice pocket like setup so things can just stay in there. If I had thought about it I would have put some V-Mount batteries into it to show what I mean . But having the largest power station in the anchor bag shows it can hold some weight and also be used for other things than being a weigh bag. I like to look outside of the box and I do have different purposes for things than they are intended like here with this product. It's going to work good for me for a long time.

Good value for the price
So, I’m not going to add a video or picture because there is a very nice one posted so I won’t be adding much value. Now, let’s delve into the review. I used it just this past weekend at a couple locations with two tripods, y beefy trusted Manfrotto and a light weight travel tripod. Generally, I found that the weighted bag works exactly as the manufacturer advertised. I do need to test it a little more with my travel tripod so will return to this reviewPros:-attaches easily to the tripod with the Velcro loops.-it seems to hold the tripod down pretty well on a flat surface with enough weight (20-25 lbs seemed to be a “sweet spot”)-has a hook at the bottom to add more weight or just to use as a single anchor-seemed well constructed and the material was really easy to clean-in windy conditions it does to seem to be relatively stable, but if you put it too high or too low it becomes less stable but that is true of weighting any tripod.-I like that it’s foldable and doesn’t take up too much space in my camera backpack.-it is certainly more convenient than hanging camera equipment on the tripod which can swing if you don’t anchor it, you don’t have to worry too much about that. Kind of a clever hammock really.Cons:-well… if you don’t want to use your bag or camera gear, you need something for it to work (e.g., rocks).-It’s most ideal for setting up on a flat surface… on a sloping surface I’d feel much more comfortable with spiked feet on the tripod rather than round ones (if there is soil to anchor the tripod feet). Although it seemed generally pretty stable, as weight is added on the tripod on an angled slope might make it a little more susceptible to moving. However, you can attach the hook to your camera bag or other stable anchor (like a tent stake) as an alternative.-I did not like that the straps, even when tightened, did slip down the legs.. that is definitely not good. The last thing I need is using it could actually increase risk of camera shake. It’s more noticeable on my travel tripod.-you need to keep that weight rating in mind in terms of your tripod. Can your tripod handle 45 pounds?Overall, this bag certainly has value, but it does appear to come with some limitations. So long as you’re aware of them, I believe this is a very good purchase.
