These SWRPG lines needs to continue. There'sso much character.
Want to thank edge for keeping it going. Also, I'd like to add, the books should be purchasable in the kindle store. I noticed A LOT of RPG books aren't in the kindle. I'm sure there's a reason for that but people will scan and PDF them anyway. I mean, sure I can bootleg them, but I would like them officially in the kindle so at least it's in my library, forever. This is why RPG games dies, books go out of print and all that's left is the half-assed PDF scans of the books. Anyways I love it. Bought all 3 games just to have it. Don't judge me, judge people hurting people.

Get this while it's in stock.
Bought this while i wait for the core rulebooks to come back into print. Haven't played a game yet but comes with everything you need to get started.Lots of tasty accessories; four detailed maps for combat encounters, A big pile of tokens for characters and NPCs, and a set of the infamous narrative dice. The starting game is a bit basic, but it's meant to teach you how to play the game, so i guess that's a given. Comes with a download link for a sequel called Long Arm of The Hutt, and it really picks up there. If you got a semi-seasoned RP group interested in the Star Wars RPG, this might be worth picking up.

Will get you started.
For the money what you get is OK, but not great, IMPO. The rule book is probably about the right length for a starter set. It comes with dice, but not a GM screen. One set of dice is probably not enough without rolling multiple times. The art and layout are good. Directions are well written. The box is flimsy. Like all RPGs I've read, it's much more complicated than people let on, if you use all the rules. However, the basic mechanics are very simple and easy to learn - including the dice. I fault Fantasy Flight Games / Edge Studios for splitting the core books into three parts, which was a transparent money grab. However, I'm glad that I got the starter set, because it's an affordable way to be able to play the basic game. The "Edge of the Empire" set seems to me to be written with fans of the Disney spinoff shows in mind, or perhaps the "Clone Wars" fans. I would probably get the Age of Rebellion starter set if I did it again, but I think they're all very much "Disney Star Wars", rather than "Lucas Star Wars". I got the 30th Anniversary West End Games 1st edition set and I felt much more at home.
