Another innovative Works product, highly recommended.
I first bought a Works Jawsaw several years ago when they had not established themselves over here yet. Over the years I have been really impressed with the innovation and reliability of that product so being a great fan of Worx already I had high expectation for their strimmer.I was not disappointed, this product is absolutely brilliant and I love the swappable battery system so much that I have already purchased a Worx drill / screwdriver which slots in exactly the same 20v power-pack.I used the strimmer for the first time this morning and it was a joy to use. Areas and corners that had become overgrown were made short work of in no time and it didn't seem to dent the available battery power either. As you would expect from a Worx product it is innovative with a useful roller system for edge trimming and a command button on the handle that feeds out extra cord if you need it. And I just love the battery system, the way it neatly snaps in under the handle and that fast charger is so nicely designed. It also features an adjustable cord guard and the shaft of the strimmer can be extended or twisted at right angles for lawn edge strimming. So I can't recommend this product enough, it really is a cut above the rest.

Great new toy
After hours of research and comparing so many, I finally decided on this Worx, my very first cordless strimmer. I still call them strimmers although they now all seem to be called trimmers. So far, no disappointments at all, I have two medium sized lawns that both need edging and this copes very well. Both take me a total of approx. 30 minutes which I can do on a single charge with still more to spare. It is light weight so that I don't get any aches and pains and having an automatic line feed is a real bonus and time saver. With my old one I spent as much time fiddling around with the line because it kept breaking, as I did actually using it, wow, modern technology.Like any new toy, it takes a few goes to get used to it and make a few adjustments but I have no regrets going cordless and choosing this model.

A nice strimmer for the average gardener / allotmenteer.
I really like this strimmer. Light, sturdy, easy to use and does a good job on the paths at my allotment. Previously had a Bosch ART 26-18 strimmer which had various problems throughout the warranty period (Bosch were good at repairing it FOC) until it eventually gave up outside the warranty period. The Worx is less expensive, has a better build quality, has low cost consummables and has more 'grunt'. I also purchased a spare 4Ah battery and a fast charger.

Works well at grass and soem failry thick weed strimming
A bit more powerful than I expected, battery lasts about 20 minutes of strimming which is enough for my allotment needs, although I have bought an extra battery now for days when I may need to do a bit more.It has been a game changer compared to the heavy old petro strimmer I had, which was a pain to start, had petrol that needed repalcing afyer a few months, and which usually needed servicing to make it work again each spring. Very happy with this in comparisons so far.

lightweight easy to use strimmer
this was bought to replace a corded strimmer. the rotation and adjustment are excellent and the height adjustment makes storage easier. the strimmer is fairly lightweight and is fine for ordinary lawn edging but I feel it might struggle with heavy duty undergrowth as the spool material is a lighter material than that of my previous corded strimmer

Really good strimmer
I wanted to write a review as it may help someone who was in the same position as me. I’m not a gardner have no interest in my garden, but it was getting overgrown to the point where it didn’t really look very nice. So generally there is good reviews for this strimmer, but there was also a few not so good reviews particularly concerning the battery life, my garden was overgrown with really thick grass, lots of stinging nettles and weeds, but this strimmer just cut straight through it. I have a large garden and with the battery it cut 3/4 of my garden in one go considering what it was cutting and how overgrown it was I cannot fault this strimmer, so glad I chose this one.
