Love this backpack!!
Hmm . . . The description says it has a laptop sleeve with velcro closure, but mine does not have the velcro. But it will hold a 15.6 laptop - probably snug width-wise and will stick out above the sleeve length-wise. But I don't use it for a laptop - I put my iPad in the sleeve. The backpack is very roomy for my needs. I tell my friends that this is the best thing I bought! I love the design, the sturdy material, the different compartments, the "feel" on my shoulders, etc. It's perfect for my needs!

Light weight
This bag is light weight, perfect shape with inside pockets on the front and back of the bag making it easy to distribute weight. I don't carry a big computer but it would fit a normal size computer and then some books on the other side of the bag, perfect. Its large compared to the DaKine back pack I have and easier to put things in the bag in an organized fashion. The pocket on the front is large and deep. the middle pocket is also large with a couple of small slots for a phone or something. The top zipper area isn't really that large, I carry a few pens and maybe a pair of glasses, was disappointed in that part, was hoping it would be larger and fit a passport. There are side pockets that are very deep as well but they don't zip. I still love this bag and the color. I literally have a monkey on my back, but it's not too heavy and he's purple.

Strong
My daughter’s old backpack came apart at the strap so we hopped on Amazon on the hunt for this brand as she had a friend that had one. So far so good ~ very sturdy and stylish. We took the little monkey keychain off and have been hiding him around the house :) She’s a freshman and needed a strong backpack as she really doesn’t have time to do her locker.

Not very attractive
The book bag was smaller than expected and did not look very attractive. I have a black Kipling bag, and the style of this burgundy bag was not as good.
