These suction cups are the best I have used. Once you attach them, they stay on and have been great.

Great as a tool
I love this suction cup I have ordered it and are using it to install laminate flooring in my house. I use this camera mount To help me align and snap into place the ends of laminate flooring. When using 4' length Of laminate Flooring It's difficult to have something to grab on to push the 2 ends into place. This handy suction cup camera mount has enough strength and versatility That I can attach it To a flooring segment within arm's length And either pull The flooring section or tap it with a rubber mallet. I am impressed How well This Attaches to any smooth surface.

Suction that works
Used these on the roof of my car as additional tension points. They work as good as Sea Suckers at half the price. Great suction mounts.

Used 3 times and it stopped working
Buy something different, 1 cup stopped working completely after 3 uses, the other sort of works. I have 10 other cups made by Woods, some have been used thousands of times in 20 years. These are your typical Chinese junk

Works exactly the same as...
Bought a major brand for $85 (S..S...er) and this one to compare. The short is get this one! It works exactly the same and actually has more options than the major brand. Hold just as well, and has handled the weather, water and winds just fine.

Great function, design, build quality. Missing some niceties.
This is a good suction cup, a nice size, in between the 4" and somewhat enormous 6" that are more common. Great selection of mounting points, with anti-rotation pin holes - excellent.But WHY oh WHY is the protective cover such a cheap, soon-to-be-destroyed piece of junk? Every other suction cup I own from 3 other manufacturers has come with a sturdy, long-lasting protective cover, to help keep the soft rubber from nicks or cuts that will render it useless or less reliable.

Strong hold but needs smooth surface
We bought 2 of these and a flexible arm to attach our iPad to our boat for navigation. Works well holding it in place securely at sea going 30 knots in 4 ft waves. But definitely needs a perfectly smooth surface. Tried attaching to the iPad directly but even the Apple logo would interfere with suction. Had to use a smooth case but then holds fast. It easily disconnects as well.
