Modern strip light
Easy to install, per our maintenance team. Great brightness, very modern design. Quality is great.

Great product
These lights are amazing. We hung them in my salon and they are bright but not too bright. You can change the output of how much light comes out so it’s customizable

Decent light. Decent price. Not easy to install.
This light works well in my shop. I called an electrician friend to help me install it though. This is not for people with zero experience dealing with electricity.

Do not buy this product!
I have been a prime member and buying from Amazon for years and never written a review until now. Do not buy these lights! I ordered 3 packs of 4 and out of the 12 fixtures I had 6 damaged, 1 not working, and 1 dim one. These were tested by an electrician. No way to contact the seller to resolve except to return/refund through Amazon.

Great fixure and lighting. Very neat suspension system but instructions are lacking: See below
I installed this light over a project table in my garage, suspended from the ceiling. The instructions for this type installation amounted to a couple of small drawings (for surface mount there was more info) that weren't very easy to figure out how to do the installation. So I sat down with the parts and played with them until I figured it out.The first step was to take one of the suspension wires, which has a light mounting bracket on one end and a short fat cylinder on the other. Looking closely at this cylinder there is a knurled screw in one end that the wire enters. Unscrew this completely and the wire stays attached to the knurled screw. The other part left in your hand has a counter sunk surface on the inside opposite the end the screw was attached to. I used a coarse threaded drywall screw inserted thru this and screwed it into the ceiling. The part that was unscrewed can now be reinstalled. I thought this was a really neat idea. The next issue was how to raise the light. Looking at the other end of the suspension wire is a longer, skinnier cylinder which also has a knurled nut on the bottom. Loosen this nut and lightly push the suspension wire into the cylinder and it will come out the side. Pull the wire outwards to obtain the desired height and then tighten the knurled nut. The bracket on the end of the suspension wire just snaps into the top of the lamp any where along its length.Once I figured out how to install the fixture I thought that it was a very neat idea. It looks very simplistic and minimalist while being very secure. An ideal solution. I wish I had taken pictures to post here but that wasn't on my mind at that time.Wiring was very straight forward but a clamp-on wiring service connector (I think that's what it's called) will need to provided, which any hardware store will have. All in all, I am very pleased with this fixture. It puts out excellent light, in three different temperatures, with 4000K being the most natural. By far it out performs the fluorescent fixtures I have in the garage. I will probably get some more in the future.

A nice looking shop light, that can select color and link to other lights.
This light came reasonably packaged, but mine arrived with a slight dent in it, that I can't tell if it came from shipping, or the factory. That side of the light will be facing away from everyone, so nobody should see it anyways. I like the wires to suspend these from the ceiling, as that makes my life a lot easier. I've gotten these wires in other lights, but I couldn't figure out how to mount them, but I finally got it figured out, because these actually come with instructions. The only thing I wished they did differently, was give us the option to have the power wire closer to the center of the light, instead of only being at the end of the light. As they mention, you can connect 2 of these lights together, because power and LED control lines are sent through to the other end of the light, for connecting to the next light. I haven't tried this feature, because I only have one light, but it looks like it should be easy enough to do.At first glance over the instructions, this light appeared to be missing a few pieces, but then I realized that the listed pieces were attached to other pieces. Like the wire nuts they list, are on the ends of the wire, on the light itself. So, if you're looking through that list, don't think something is missing, until you've looked at where it's supposed to be. I have another light, very similar to this one, that I pressed into service as a shop light, but this Dakason light is a proper shop light, with most of it's light being directed down. I'm not sure how other people use this light in their shop, but I mount this over my work bench, as low as possible, without being an annoyance, and it gives me plenty of light.

Well designed, durable materials, great illumination - what you would expect
I installed this light in my garage as a flush mounted to the ceiling using existing wiring. The instructions were very basic, so I'm adding some helpful tips: There are the traditional three wires for hot (black), Neutral (white) and Ground (green) - with the proper size wire nuts... note that you will need larger wire nuts if you are twisting more than two wires per nut, if your junction box is wired that way. And of course, white, black, and green go to their corresponding white, black, green/copper counterparts in the junction box. There are also two wires for 1-10V low voltage dimmer connection ... If you are installing into an existing junction box, chances are you don't have those wires, so ignore these, just tuck them in the fixture. The metal brackets that are used to snap/fasten to the ceiling have very little instructions... just ensure they are screwed into the ceiling in a line consistent with where you want the fixture to end up. I calculate that they should be placed 39 inches from outside edge to outside edge - please refer to the pictures I included. The unit also permits one to switch color temperature from 5000k, bright white, to a mid-range 4000k and finally more subdued yellow light 3000k, like incandescence. There's nothing not to like about this light, other than the lack of instructions. It does the job and is easy to install. I would buy it again. Note that the true length of the unit is 45 5/8" long. Hope you found this helpful, if so, please give me a thumbs up.
