Kids loved them super cool! A lot of fun!

For a mom with a teen, they thoroughly enjoyed this and the height that it would jump. Anything to keep my baby playing and off his cell or an electronic in general is a win for me.

I would give this zero stars is that we're an option. It doesn't work! We tried all kinds of surfaces and ways of dropping it, spinning it. Doesn't work. Don't waste your money.

The toy has a very strong odor to it. My daughter snuck it in bed with us. I was trying to pinpoint the awful burnt chemical-like smell. I thought it was something electrical related in our house until I found it by our pillows.Otherwise, it does work fine and is pretty cool. Hopefully the smell goes away...

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this for my grandchildren to play with. It reminded me of the little half ball devices you invert and place on a table - that all of a sudden pop up. Only this looked bigger and jumped higher.The Hip Hop Pops comes in a small blister package. It is about 2 1/8" in diameter in a half ball shape. If you invert it to play, the outside flexed diameter goes to 2 11/16". There is a plastic post inserted through a hole at the top of the ball diameter.It's made from what feels like a thick rubber. Kind of like a Spalding pink handball only the rubber on the hopper is much thicker and stiffer. I would estimate the thickness at the top of the dome shape to be close to 1/4".The manufacturer then removes most of the thickness around the open edge of the circumference till the very edge is only a little more than 1/16" thick. You can see this thinning action in the photos. When you invert the ball to play the edge is thin and the top surface rounded and features dots of rubber. I think all of this design science is what makes the device work so well.The instructions are simple. Turn the ball inside out by pushing on the plastic post on the outside surface of the ball with your thumb, while holding the outside edge. I used two hands.Then hold it out in front of you and give the little knurled button a twist (with your thumb and index finger) as you drop the ball, so it spins down to the floor. It also works if you drop it straight down in front of you so that the open cup section its flat on the floor. Again, I think the spin just tends to balance the toy so that it hit flat on the floor.In the video, I'm about 5'-8" tall so the toy is jumping up a little less the 5 feet. It's like bouncing a ball only you don't have to throw it down - just drop it.It works if you drop it on its side - it just doesn't jump as high. It has to be dropper pretty badly for it not to work. Holding it by the post on top and just dropping it, gives you a very good chance of an acceptable Pop.This toy meets the descriptions and images shown on the webpage. It works exactly as described. It's well made from strong materials, and I think the design and shape took some engineering. While all of this is true it still only delivers a simple bounce or hop of an opened sided ball. It's a cool trick and will have a high Wow factor with the grandkids. But, in my opinion its price is a bit high for what you get. At about 1/2 this price I'd be ordering more. So, I would recommend it, if like me, you are intrigued by the design and Pop. It would make a nice fidget toy in the office, or a seminar or trade show give away.

My kids love these! They are super fun and keep the kids busy. Definitely bigger than I expected but functional. *Probably better so it's not a choking hazard. Bright colors and exciting popping sounds when they land. Great stocking stuffer!

These are so fun. My kids and I love playing with them. They pop great and are still in great condition after lots of use.
