Too tight for medium or large sized dogs
This shouldn't be sold. Is too tight and unusable. Missed return window so not sure what to do with it now.

Foxtails are expensive
These are unbeatable for prevention of foxtails being sniffed up the snout AND to keep your dog from eating off the ground. Highly recommend this product.

Does a decent job for the price!
A summer breeze blew a foxtail in my dog's ear canal a couple years ago which cost over $1k to remove, so hopefully this covering will help prevent that. I would not expect it to do much good if my dog runs through a field of foxtails. Plus it's white so I would see them easily. The fabric is very breezy & lightweight which is absolutely necessary for summer when the foxtails are the biggest threat. I agree black would be better just for dogs visibility. ** PLEASE make them in small sizes like for Chihuahuas!**UPDATE: I should have mentioned that this is too big for my Chihuahua but I purchased knowing this, planning to make alterations since I have a sewing machine. I am updating my review from 4 to 5 stars because it is not cheaply made. The seams are very well sewn.

does not stay off the face as pictured
just a regular head net type screen for the face area, I thought like in the picture it would hold form which would be very helpful, I thought it appeared to have firmer material. it does not, got the size suggested and it pressed up against dog nose she did not like that it ran small and material around face is flimsy as well as having a seam right in the eye erea that can block a view. not a fan. the neck holder on thing snood thing was a good idea just needs firmer material imo

Terribly cheap
This did not last 20 minutes before the dog chewed a hole and ripped it. Worth a try, I suppose but not for my dog. Very flimsy netting.

Great keeping my pooch from eating chicken poop and keeping stickers out of her nose, eyes, and ears
My girl is a 20 lb mini Goldendoodle. We raise chickens on acreage and she thinks chicken poop is a delicious treat😵💫 Unfortunately it can be full of parasites. This was a GREAT solution to my problem. A bonus was…NO More stickers in her eyes 👀, nose 👃, or ears 👂. I tie it to her harness and had to make the mesh a little smaller. She got use to it pretty quickly.

Ridiculous
No small dog size and netting is going to attract sticks AND foxtails, worthless

Black mesh would be better
Our golden eats rocks. She grudgingly semi-tolerated this hood but the white mesh made it difficult for her to see. We have a pricier black mesh field mask that she doesn't try to remove at all. The black mesh is just like looking though a screen door. The white mesh is not. Plus the mesh on this hood is very delicate and tightly woven so air flow is a question. We will keep it in the car as a cheaper, temp option if something happens to our black Outfox hood.
