Good heavy guage and simple but had to replace the first one as it had trail of rust being 'cleared' all over the usable side.The seller himself came in person to deliver the replacement and took the first one for inspection !He informed that they do NOT use scrap iron like local guys selling at 1/4th the price.While he seemed genuine, no way to verify the claims of quality and no clue what EU std is !Thinner dosa's are a challenge as they get burnt or stick to kallu. But then may be it is our lack of skill :)Trust he passes the price benefit to the deserving artisans he has mentioned in the link.

I had bought this kallu about 3 months ago, and at the time I bought it, I was looking for a taste of the genuine Tamilnadu dosa - the crisp, homemade type - not the commercial type, I really didn't expect much, and we have had bad experiences in the past.You can just forget about your doubts, and blindly buy this dosa kallu, After 3 months of usage,and an initial tempering period of only 15 days, the dosas are crisp and beautiful and a real joy to eat. The kallu is perfectly seasoned and my wife says that she thinks the material and craftsmanship is as good if not better than the expensive Lodge cast iron pans.An excellent product, and I will most certainly recommend the purchase.

The product is very good. Although its very costlier when compared to local products which are available at a much cheaper price, i have gone for this product as i am not sure of how to select a good tawa. But i didnt get the spatula along with tawa. I have placed a replacement order to get spatula buy it was not there even in the second order.

Excellent product! This is the original tawa...dosas made on cast iron taste so different. So glad I bought it. Highly recommended, especially if you are one of those true blue cooks and likes to stick to the original. These can never match up to non-stick tawas.
