Not Bad, but, bluetooth....
Not bad for the money, However! It seems the blue- tooth connectivity is quick to connect which is great, but there is a lot of transmission drops , pauses, and glitches when my phone is more than 5 feet away. Sound quality and volume are acceptable for what this unit is. I am running an 8 inch sub with a 50 watt per channel built in amp to 2 Klipsh desktop 2 way speakers. And the sound is fantastic. There is no supplied FM antennae, but they are pretty easy to find. Not sure if the listing stated none was provided. I used this in my bedroom for spa music for my girlfriends massage and she loved it. I will likely move this outdoors to my patio, but need to see if it can handle the weather. (not rated) but we will see. Overall, for the money, not too bad. I would recommend it to a friend.

Versatile receiver
I hate to give it such a good review fearing they may go up on the price. This receiver would make an awesome gift. You can use a variety of speakers that are rated at different ohms, which means a lot especially if you don't know what ohm your speaker is. It's powered by 120 volt A/C or 12 Volt D/C. You can receive radio stations, Bluetooth devices or whatever you can plug into it. It's so small and compact you can use it just about anywhere, a room in your house, the garage, hook it up to your TV and it also go anywhere there is a DC 12 volt outlet, let your imagination run wild. It definitely has plenty of volume, you might be impressed. It also has Bass and Treble knobs to adjust the sound to your liking. My only concern was plugging in the antenna that comes with it. They should have supplied it with a Coax plug.

Good value, but FM Mode has issues
Overall, it is an amazing receiver for the price. I am using it in the kitchen to power my ancient Bose 501, that feature a passive subwoofer. Sound is good enough. No problems with BT or USB. There are no published specifications for total harmonic distortion, but audiophiles won't be buying this product.Unfortunately, the FM function has some issues. If listening to FM and unit is turned off, this amp defaults to an incredibly loud preset on subsequent power-up. You have to quickly turn down the volume when powering up, or you will be blasted with distortion. The volume "gain" for FM mode is way too high, and the usable range of volume setting is only about 20% of the dial setting without very loud distorted sound. The FM preset channel scan is quirky but it works, but there seems no way to edit preset FM frequencies. There are 30+ preset frequencies, but after scanning multiple times, there are still quite a few weak and unlistenable channels that have been preset and can't be removed. The other problem with FM is that this receiver does not accept a standard 75-Ohm coaxial antenna connection. There is a 1 meter special purpose antenna cable included, but you're stuck with this and limited placement. One other issue is a loud "pop" heard through the speakers that always occurs on power up.This receiver is incredibly lightweight. I took off the 3 screws that hold the top cover on for an inspection. It weighs about 1/4 or less of the old, same size Pyle receiver that I relocated. Applied technology is impressive, and there are only three small circuit boards on the inside. The wideband output transistors to the speakers are only about the size of a fingernail, with only the tiniest heatsinks. There is not any real heat build up while in use, and the outer metal case remains cool.OVERALL: Design and features are impressive for the price. Long term reliability is unknown. If you are purchasing this receiver for FM radio use, think twice about purchasing the AK-45.

Bluetooth Can Be Turned Off!
There are not many amplifiers on the market anymore that allow a RCA, Auxiliary 3.5mm, or USB hook up to be used and the dangerous Bluetooth signal to be turned off so that it's not constantly killing any biological organism, which includes humans (you), in its field. Yes, it has been scientifically proven. If you want to conduct your own rudimentary scientific experiment, place a plant right by any Bluetooth or 5G emitting device, such as a Wi-Fi router, and the plant's health will decline and it will eventually die.The amplifier's wattage is high enough for any sound system, be it as small as a smartphone or laptop, or as big as a home theater system. The only flaw that has been encountered is the light background hiss that can be heard when it's turned on and no sound is being produced. This could be corrected with better wiring inside the device, but hey, like most things nowadays, it's made in China and they cut corners to make money over producing quality products. (Good thing this product is quality enough and said issue is the only thing that is lacking.) However, this isn't a problem if you simply turn the amp off when you're not using it, producing some kind of sound.
