Excellent controller with missed opportunities
Overall, excellent controller with great functionality.Pro;Looks sleek, great ergonomics except for 1 gripeSolid buildCustomizableExcellent buttonsExcellent sticksGreat dockAwesome lightingReplaceable partsAwesome screen, very uniqueOverall fantastic controller, period. If you're torn between this and a few other controllers, this one won't steer you wrongCon;The only real con, imo, is that the space where my middle fingers go, is a bit poorly shaped, and my fingers grind into the back of the controller. That's it.Everything else, is really more of a missed opportunity of the company rather than an issue with the controller itself; The dock has a space for the wireless dongle, but you still need to plug them in separately. With the 8bitdo controllers for example, the dock has a port for the dongle to plug into, so you can plug the dock into your computer and it will power the dock and act as the dongle plug in as well. Wish they updated the dock. The physical customizability is lacking a bit... You can change the face plates, but there are only two available. I have both and the clear one is awful on the black controller. The light doesn't go into the body, so it's kinda pointless, unfortunately. I wish they had more options, it would be fun!And lastly, the software on the controller is perfectly fine for customizing the buttons and feel of the controller, but with the awesome screen it has, after I set up my controller initially, I never used it again. I would love for them to set up some kind of software that would, I dunno, read the computer clock speeds, temp, or anything else, and display it on the controller.Again, these are just missed opportunities that would have made this my favorite controller of all time, rather than just an amazing one.

1 year later and still an awesome PC/ switch controller
Had this controller for almost a year now. I've always used x box controllers for my laptop and this was a massive upgrade for a reasonable price. I love the charging stand and the fact you can change button assignment. It also works well with the switch, its comfortable to use and i like the way it looks. The dongle did fail after a good while but i just used the Bluetooth connection which is extremely stable. The x box controllers would disconnect sometimes. After 1 year the only issue I've had was the dongle otherwise controller still works great I would highly recommend.

I bought it cause it was gimicky and dorky. It's definitely not.
I like this controller a lot. I've always been cheap with controllers, cause I don't use them a whole lot (cept flight sim stuff lol), and well, this looked good and was in my budget.Off the bat, connected to my desktop no problem (I forgot I didn't have bluetooth in my desktop, and this has a handy dandy dongle that doesn't need pairing. The wireless charger dock is awesome, it's really nice.I wish there was more I could do with the display, maybe some extra binds for other stuff, maybe it has that? I dunno I'm on Linux. Oh by the way, out of the box, works on Linux, no funny configurations needed. The controls feel nice, the sticks feel great and are very responsive.I love the stipleing on the triggers, thats a genuinely great feeling. The buttons also have great tactile feedback. It would be a neat thing if the triggers had that kind of feedback when you hit the stop, but they're halleffect, so I can't fault them for not having tactile end stops for the triggers. Technically you could probably mod in a detent, but that'd be expensive and a pain.Yeah I haven't got much else to say, for $60 this is an outstanding controller, and I genuinely really, really like it.

A really nice controller with a lot of functionality
I game on a PC, and while my preference is usually keyboard and mouse, there are some games that were designed around a console controller so I like to have a good controller around for those type of games. I found this controller while digging through product reviews and it sounded like a capable, well made product with some interesting features. I've been using it for a few days now, and I must say it works really well. One of the qualities that I find really interesting is that this controller is capable of behaving and connecting as an Xbox, PlayStation, Switch or generic controller. This allows it to work on all of those platforms, but also allows you to connect it to your PC as any of those controller types.I've discovered that I can connect it to my PC via three different connection methods.Wired method: When you plug it in via a USB C cable you can toggle it between X-input(behaves as an Xbox controller) or D-input(behaves as a PlayStation controller) by pressing and holding - and + for 5 seconds.Wireless dongle method: When connected in PC mode via the included wireless dongle, you can toggle the controller to behave as an Xbox controller, a Switch controller, or a generic controller by pressing and holding - and + for 5 seconds. The controller rumbles when it switches between these modes but there isn't any indication on the controller which mode it is in, but you can see what it shows up as through Steam.Wireless via direct Bluetooth connection. When set as a Switch, Android, or IOS controller, you can pair it to your PC directly via Bluetooth. In Switch mode it shows up on your PC as a Switch controller, in Android it shows up as a Generic controller, and in IOS mode it shows up as an Xbox controller.Running the controller in each of the modes (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, or Generic) effects how some of the buttons behave. In Xbox mode, the home button behaves as the Xbox logo button, but in Generic mode it launches your default web browser. Switch mode will re-arrange the order of your A, B, X, and Y buttons (which can be remapped manually if you want), and the capture button will take screenshots, and you also have access to the controllers gyroscope sensors(which you can then map to thumbstick controls in Steam or something like that if you want). The built in full color display looks nice, and the controller's menu system is easy to navigate and use. It would have been nice if the display had some kind of screensaver function to take better advantage of the displays esthetic qualities. It seems like that was a missed opportunity. The magnetic faceplate isn't for sale in different color options like the product page implies that it is. I verified this by emailing the company and asking them. They told me that alternate faceplates aren't currently available and said that they may be available in the future. They said "may" not "will" so hard to say if these faceplates will ever be available for purchase.I would have liked the buttons to have been backlit, but they aren't.Overall though, it is a very nice and capable controller and I have been enjoying it and would recommend it to others looking for a nice game controller.
