Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose the reading pillow becsuase it looked like it would be very comfy and I was correct. The arms hitched by velcro and easy to adjust an a bit and it has a pocket big enough for a book or crossword puzzle book. The books I was able to fit in either pocket on the arms - 8x5 494 pages! It is a little big but it fitted on our duble bed. The color is great too. The arms are attached by velcro and this means you can remove the arms if you want.Size:[illpw H23"/W16 1/2"Pillow quality:very nice, the arms are well designed. You attach the arms by velcro - easy. one has a pocket 10 1/2"inches and "10 1/2" wide, comfy. the other arm has a pocket which is split in half with a seam - good place for pens or other small items.

I am EXTREMELY pleased with this product. This pillow is made very well and is the perfect size. I was concerned at first because I’m only 5’2 but my head still rests in a comfortable position on the headrest even though it doesn’t go quite to the top. When I first opened it, there was only a slight “new” smell as I expected. Nothing too overwhelming. I let it air out for a day while I washed the covers and now, there’s no odor at all. The covers are very easy to wash and put back on. The foam quickly popped into the correct size without any defects like I’ve read on similar products and reviews. I followed the directions included and had no issues at all. I bought this to prop up at night while recovering from oral surgery and believe it will make the process a lot easier. Functions very well as a comfy alternative to a recliner. The pockets are an extra plus!! Definitely recommend!

Purchased this recently due to foot surgery and having to be in bed. The arm rests are perfect and the slots very useful for my remote and phone. The other slot fits my iPad perfectly. The only thing I’d hange is the back is too far back for me, I’m short.Otherwise a good product

VERY happy with this purchase. I looked over many bedrests on Amazon and picked this one for it's lumbar support and the cool looking and useful design. The packaging was amazing, it came in this small box that I thought, OK, how'd they get a big bedrest in THIS size box. But it was double wrapped in heavy plastic so it took a bit of work to cut the plastic off, with me being afraid to cut the fabric. But after I got the 2nd wrapping opened it just exploded in size. And as described, I waited a day to use it and have found it as advertised. Love the pockets on the arm rests, no more 'where's my phone' when I'm using it!

I didn't know what to expect when I received this compressed foam tootsie roll! I unwrapped it and let it fill out for 48 hours per the instructions. There was no odor and the velvet covers were nice and soft. I've had back issues for several years and a lot of my time at home is sitting upright on my bed with my heating pad. There is a lot of great back support and the attachable side pockets are very useful. I like to have all my "stuff" within reach. I'm petite so I was surprised at the large size after using those typical student bed rests. I don't often write reviews but this item is review worthy. I'm also happy that the covers come off the foam pieces to be laundered.

Didn't know arms attached separately, not 1 piece. Arms don't stay in position very well. Not returning it, but had I known it was 3 separate pieces, wouldn't have bought it.

My lower back & sciatica nerve have caused me back problems for several years, especially if I sit for awhile especially when I’m reading or watching TV. I ordered this product because I needed something for support while engaging in these activities. After using it my back no longer hurts after sitting for any length of time & the support is great. It’s like a chair & some may not like it because of the size, but for me, the relieve it has given me is worth the size. I look forward to my reading time (I’m an avid reader)now because of the comfort & no pain that this chair provides.

Perfect reclining angle for TV and reading, firm support but soft surface comfort. I got size standard and I'm an average-size woman, and I got size large for my partner who is an average-size man. Might recommend medium for tall women or medium to small men.... I also love the firm arms for reading support.
