this is a DRY SCOOP
For anyone who didnt catch it in the title, this is a dry scoop preworkout. Intention being one scoop dry, without water, into mouth, let dissolve, then repeat.Currently priced at 16.99, 8gx2 scoops, this is approximated at 18 servings, so around a quid a scoop, just under.I cant rate this highly.Dry scooping is a fad I dont like, but I entertained the idea for testing purposes. The scoop volume is huge! Youd choke to death on the first scoop, and then they ask you to repeat it! Thats a lot of powder. The powder is crazy fine, like semolina more than coffee grains, so its a waft of dust in your face, then a wet scoop would go back in - i didnt do this, as I poured the scoop out onto a large spoon and dry scooped that instead, to avoid double dipping. The flavour is sherberty with hint of passionfruit afterwards.I dont like the dry scooping 2 scoops thing. So i mixed it into cold water into my shaker. It tasted so bland, because nopw ofc its diluted. Easier to ingest this way I wont lie. In fact, it was more off-tasting than bland.Anyway, a few minutes later I felt a bit more awake. How much placebo, I dont know.Im torn, 50/50. Wont try this again

good value, taste and ease of use.
I think when I ordered it it was £18.99 which I thought was OK value, it is now listed as £16.99, Less that £1 a serving.I will presume that it has the benefits that it claims.I have never minded using shakes (even the ones that never dissolve in the water.) This is much easier and dissolves very quickly in my mouth, I liked the taste very much, really it is the tastes as it hits different parts of my mouth. It does not taste like chemicals, anyway it is OK for me which makes it easy to take.Taking one serving is a bit much, just do half, then half.Tub is not tiny but does for in my gym bag so that I do not forget to take it.I would prefer it without caffeine but it is not a deal breaker. If you take supplements for the gym it is worth a try. If the price stays the same I will buy some when this runs out.My reviews follow this star rating:1 Star; Very unsatisfactory product. I do not recommend buying it,2 Stars; Significant deficiencies, does not fulfil its expected functions,3 Stars; Average product. Complies with expectations,4 Stars; Very good and satisfying. I liked it and it's a quality product,5 Stars; Excellent, exceeds expectations.

Tangy, no aftertaste, no jitters, consistently good workouts.
This pre workout powder couldn’t be simpler to take.It dissolves on the tongue, pretty quickly I might add, and there’s no mixing or shaking. It’s completely faff free, and stays in my gym bag.I like the sensation on the tongue, (it’s my first time trying a dry scoop pre workout powder), and I really liked the passion fruit flavour. It’s got that initial tart taste that you get with tangy haribos and then it’s sweet and you want some more! It’s got a good amount of caffeine - not enough to make you itchy or jittery but enough to improve my energy levels and I definitely felt the effects of it in the gym. I’ve consistently had some good workouts while using it.At around a £1 a serving I’d say it’s fairly priced, it’s convenient with a good flavour and a nice boost.I hope you find my review helpful.

What on EARTH were they thinking?
I used to be a MP customer before their takeover as they had simple, well priced, no nonsense products.Dropped them when they turned to seriously dicey marketing, but eh, that happens.Seeing that preWO in Vine I thought, why not renew my acquaintance? Well, I shouldn't have bothered. You get the usual sized tub, with a rather puzzling instruction to dry scoop it.You see, dry scooping comes from a daft, bro-centric fad, of putting powdered stuff straight into your mouth instead of diluting it, to show how tough and manly you are.Problem is, it makes no bloody sense. They advise to first do one scoop, let it dissolve, then take another, and well, as a good Vine tester, I did.Or tried to, really. As not only the scoop is quite large (was expecting a small one, that is more like a couple of soup spoons's size), so putting it in your gob you'll get it wet (strike one). Then, not only the powder is more corn starch in texture than sugar grains, so you end up with a face full of a cloud of dust, and start retching madly. But AS WELL, it's like a cross between sherbet and chlorohydric acid, it is way past stinging into the realm of burning. So your first spoon makes you cough madly, and therefore keeps you from being able to workout. I guess they should rename it to ''forcing you to rest pre sofa powder''I mean, even dissolved you don't get much out of it, it tastes rank, and the boost effect is basically what you'd get out of a stiff coffee.MP, I don't know what happened to your products designers but that's not pretty

Not Great
I was excited to try this pre workout as it's by the staple brand of gym nutrition 'Myprotein', but also had a intriguing flavour of 'Passionfruit Twister'. Upon opening the tub the smell of passionfruit was quite intense. I did try this while mixing with water the first time as I forgot it was a dry scoop and would recommend not making that mistake as it lacked taste, but what I could taste wasn't pleasant.Realising I did it wrong, I then tried the 'proper way' of dry scooping. It was easier than expected to get it down as it did more or less melt in, but the flavour still wasn't nice. It felt very artificial but also just not a nice fruity passionfruit flavour at all.

Dry Scoop
I ordered this for my son in law and unfortunately he really wasn't keen. He didn't like the taste of the powder and he found the texture difficult to swallow (literally and metaphorically). He only tried it the once and the rest went in the bin.It may be suitable for others but he much prefers his protein shakes to the Dry Scoop
