Really handy tripod. Small when folded, weight just right to be light enough to lug around, yet sturdy enough to trust with your camera and lenses. Can go low down to the ground, one leg can be removed and used as a monopod.has a hook for weigh down and leveling dots for, leveling with the surface. For the price, real bang for buck. I would recommend it to anyone.

Strong and easy to use does the job well

Recently become interested in photography as a potential retirement hobby; given a book on the subject for beginners, with a tripod listed as a ‘must-have’ accessory. Prices for high-end tripods can be scary, so took pot-luck on this one given its respectable reviews. Yet to be field-tested, but examination suggests it is sturdy, stable - and smart. Happy to add my recommendation for others in my ‘what-to-risk’ category.

Been told it’s a great bit of kit

Having read the reviews of this product I was hopeful it would live up to its reputation. I’m glad to say it did that and more! This tripod is so dynamic. Its build strength and adaptability are fantastic. Highly recommended this tripod.

This camera tripod works perfectly with my 5D3 with the Canon F2.8 ii 24-70mm lens attached. It is very sturdy even at full height. The build quality is excellent and it has a good solid weight, so it won't be easily blown over by strong wind. It also comes with a phone holder which is handy for recording videos for social media. It is quite compact once fully folded and can be easily carried or stored with the good-quality carrying bag. It is currently priced at £50.39 at the time of review, and cheaper with a £7 voucher, which I think is good value considering the build quality (I also own a Manfrotto tripod). Overall, this is a well-made reasonably priced camera tripod for professional use. Highly recommended!

As a keen amateur photographer, I already own a few light weight tripods, but I had been on the lookout for something more substantial at a reasonable price. I actually received this CAMBOFOTO branded tripod for test and review.I must say this CAMBOFOTO tripod is not a brand I have heard of before, but so far, I have found it works well for me. It’s certainly feels well-constructed, if just a little weightier than I would have preferred. The strong aluminium legs unsure the tripod is very sturdy even when at maximum length, and 360 Degree Ball Head has a smooth operation when moving my camera. I do miss not have a hand on the ball head, but this can be swapped out with one that does. The three spirit levels ensure you can get a camera completely level if required.I do have a couple of niggles, first being the levers for the angle adjust, which are not the best I have used, and the second the cheap plastic mobile phone holder, this just seem like an afterthought. The fact is I have used this tripod as a monopod a fair bit with my latest flagship Samsung, so I was hoping the phone holder would have also been of a metal construction.Overall, this is a well-made and versatile tripod, and very good quality for this reasonably low price point.I hope you find my review useful and helpful.

I am an amateur in both astrophotography and nighttime cityscape. Much of my astrophotography involves carrying a tracking mount for my 80mm refractor (500mm focal length). But sometimes I don't need the tracking. This tripod enables me to travel without the heavier telescope mount and as shown in my picture, I can actually mount my refractor on it. However, I do feel the weight that I have loaded onto it, which was around 5-6kg, is the limit, despite the description claim of 15kg. It IS an impressively heavy-duty tripod for its portability but not for more than 6kg load because I can see the strain is mostly on the single screw mounting plate. Also, it is paramount to balance out the weight, if the camera end is too heavy, then hang a counterweight on the lens/refractor or vice versa.I love the versatility of this tripod. It can be used for my normal dslr photography or with the phone holder adapter, I can use it with my Samsung galaxy to also do hyperlapses. The phone holder can rotate for portrait or landscape.The tripod legs have two locking angles. and the neck shaft is detatchable for use as a selfie stick or monopod.For the retail price, this fantastic value. for the stability it offers.Top marksThe tripod ball head is smooth, with double locks. All locking knobs are smooth and easy to tighten. The swivel is incredibly smooth too. The azimuth dial is very useful for me too as I can calibrate the tripod to aim North on a compass and then use the dial to swivel my camera and lens to the direction of a predicted moon or sunrise/set.There are also two bubble spirit levels, but I never can get the hand of levelling them as once I turn the knobs I they always slightly go off and they are in awkward positions anyway. I just simply level with my camera display.
