Does everything it is supposed to do. Seems to be really sturdy. Have only ridden with it 5 or 6 times since purchasing. At this point I would recommend this product.

This Asmax helmet communications unit is on the cutting edge of new motorcycle communications devices for two reasons. First, it's Mesh capable for up to 10 riders. This is a different (and newer) technology than the vast majority of helmet comm devices use. Bluetooth is the name (and communication type) used to power the previous generation's abilities, and I'm glad to report that this unit is backwards compatible with the Bluetooth only systems, so it didn't obsolete my riding partner's comm unit just because I upgraded to this Mesh capable one. I easily paired this unit with his (a different brand) and using it in the intercom mode with my non-mesh capable partner's device works very well with clear voice capabilities out to about 200 yards. The second reason this a is cutting edge product is the onboard voice assistant. Not Hey Google or Siri from your phone, instead it's named Max and comes with this Asmax unit. There are 4 buttons on the face of this unit and Max can do almost everything you can do by pushing buttons, just ask and she (must be short for Maxine) makes it happen. There's volume to spare and after pairing my phone to it, music, navigation and phone calls are all part of Max's capabilities. Why bother with buttons is my new 2-wheel motto thanks to this new headset. I can't report on the Mesh capabilities because I don't have another Mesh capable device, nor do any of the people I usually ride with. I'm excited about the increased distances that Mesh is supposed to be capable of maintaining communications over, but that will have to wait for now. What I can report is this unit sports the latest greatest tech involved in helmet communications these days and I can't wait to explore the Mesh capable side of it. I'm fairly sure, judging from how it works so far, that it will be equally as impressive as it already is.

The Voice Control feature is absolutely worth it!During the unboxing of this product, you see some amazing attention to detail and a clear focus on quality. It seems like the brand didn't overlook any details -- even the 2-sided tape is genuine 3M brand. However, then you encounter the helmet clip... I still can't believe that's the actual helmet clip included with this high-end product.I have a motorcycle Bluetooth headset kit that I paid $25 for and it has a better helmet clip. In fact, I have several of these and all of them have better helmet clips. But you can mount it other ways (and I'm using the 2-side tape mount).Aside from that one oversight, quality and attention to detail are observed everywhere. The product manual is another place you see this. It's really good and easy to understand.What sets this headset apart from the others I have tested is the voice control. That's a game-changer for me. I often find myself unable to let go with my left hand to use the buttons, and sometimes it is hard to find the buttons. I use a motorcycle headset in many conditions, not just easy highway cruising. In fact, more often than not, I need both hands on the bars and my full concentration ahead. Voice control allows me to achieve both of those things, while still staying in communication.My use case involves just one other riding friend and sometimes phone calls. I have not tried any of the group functionality for larger groups yet. But all the functionality I have tried works as expected. Sound quality is very similar to my other headset that costs a bit less than this one, but again, the voice control offered by the ASMAX Z1 makes everything else seem obsolete.

The media could not be loaded.  Great intercom system for the money. I was using a different brand in the same price range and this one better in SO many ways.First off, the size of this considering it is "budget-friendly" is impressive. It's as small as some of the premium brands, but it is smaller than the one I currently use! As I prepared to install, I gave it a charge and was very impressed with how quickly charges to full capacity. Upon inspecting the speakers, I was impressed by the quality...in terms of how they were made. Felt like premium speakers. Once I understood how to turn it on, I immediately realized how easy it is to control using voice commands. I was able to use my Phone's AI assistant and the Intercom's voice commands without issue. The only problems occurred when I was on the interstate travelling at highways speeds. With everything closed up on my helmet, I could get it to work if I yelled.The quality of the speakers is VERY impressive. I used the app to make some setting changes and the music sounds like it's being played through good headphones. I'm really impressed in general with the sound quality and volume. I can hear well even at interstate speeds...it's even better when you consider the price. Plus, the design of the intercom seems to allow for speaker upgrades from other brands should you seek that. I'm actually quite happy with what is included.I still have actually tried pairing my other unit to it yet, but I did practice going into the pairing modes (It's so simple using the voice command, lol).All in all, I am beyond impressed with this intercom. The volume and quality of sound by itself makes this a game-changer for me. The added feature of voice control and assistant on my phone takes it into the next stratosphere! I highly suggest it!

Unboxing: The box includes 2 x ASMAX Z1 units, a user manual, and 2 accessories boxes each containing: magnetic mount, speakers, mounting plate, metal clamp, boom mic, chin bar mic, USB-C charging cable, cleaning wipe, speaker pads, velcro adhesive speaker mounts, velcro adhesive mic mount, mic muff, stickers, and spare 3M adhesive for the mounting plate. The user manual is quite easy to understand, with lots of diagrams.Installation: I had no trouble installing these units on a Shoei RF-1200 and a SiGi helmet. The 3M double-sided tape holds well. The speakers fit nicely in the speaker pockets of both helmets. I've had previous headsets where the speakers are too big for the pockets and need to be trimmed, so it was nice not to have to do that. The unit attaches magnetically to its mount, making it very easy to attach. To remove, you pull the lever at the front or the mount down while pushing the unit forward.Pairing: Pairing with my iPhone was simple. You can just say "Hi max, phone pairing" or press the large button on the unit. Pairing with the other ASMAX Z1 unit was also easy. You can say "Hi Max, group mesh" or press and hold the smaller intercom button for 2s. I was able to pair this in "universal pairing" mode with another brand of headset without any problem by holding the large button for 3s, then double pressing the smaller button.Mobile App: You can install their "ASMAX WORLD" app on your phone, which lets you change settings of the Z1 such as music effects, automatic volume adjustment, notification, phone, intercom and music volumes, calling settings, LED settings, etc. via the Bluetooth connection with your phone. It also lets you configure your group chat by adding other intercom units to private group. Very useful!Performance: The speakers sound good and are loud enough to be heard even at highway speeds while wearing earplugs. Music, intercom and phone calls all sounded crisp and clear. My riding partner said they could hear me clearly and the mic did not transmit any wind or engine noise, even when I tried it on my loud 2-stroke dirt bike. The range is excellent, even at around 1km apart, we could still communicate.Voice control: This is a game changer and makes the headset so much easier to use. On my previous headset, it was very difficult to operate using it small buttons, especially while wearing gloves and riding. With voice control, you can do just about everything you need without taking your hands off the handlebars to fumble with buttons. You can simply say "Hi Max" followed by any of the commands. Commands include: volume up, volume down, music on / music off / previous track / next track / group mesh / group mode / free mode / end intercom / answer phone / hang up phone. The unit provides feedback in a female voice over the speakers and is clear and easy to understand.Overall very impressed with the ASMAX Z1. It's high quality and does everything I need a motorcycle headset to do. The voice control and app are extremely useful, and I don't think I could go back to using headsets without these features.

Je vais comparer ces ASMAX à mon SENA 50s que j'utilise généralement. Très clairement, ce sont 2 produits très différents et surtout à des tarifs très différents car ce lot de 2 ASMAX est vendu 2 x moins cher qu'un seul SENA.Que valent ces ASMAX alors ?Dans l'ensemble, ils sont très satisfaisants !✅ Ils offrent une qualité audio (micro et haut parleur) audible et claire. Les communications sont intelligibles et écouter de la musique est tout à fait faisable. Attention, il vous faudra un casque bien insonorisé malgré tout pour en profiter correctement à plus de 100km/h✅ La portée est correcte sans être extraordinaire. Mais la communication passe bien jusqu'a 1km✅ le packaging est complet, on dispose de plusieurs micros (branche ou pastille donc compatible avec les casques jet)✅ installation normale via de l'adhesif 3M✅ commandes vocales pour piloter l'appareilDéfaut :❌ les commandes manuelles. Très clairement, cet appareil n'est pas conçu pour etre pilotée avec des gants, qui plus en roulant ... heureusement que les commandes vocales sont présentes ..En quoi le SENA est au dessus :- Meilleure qualité audio- Mesh bien plus performant (Sena utilise sa propre techno qui permet un maillage sur une plus grande distance et avec plus d'appareils)- Compatible avec Siri- Utilisation pensée également avec les gantsSans surprise, on est bien sur une gamme inférieure mais le prix est également 4X moins cher ramené à une seule unité. Dovrebbe costare non più di 50/60 euro, (il singolo) non mi piace fare recensioni negative e questa non vuole esserlo, perché è da considerare che dietro ogni prodotto che si vende ci sono aziende e o società che s’impegnano nei progetti e hanno voglia di emergere. In questo caso però non mi sento di essere troppo comprensivo in quanto costa veramente tanto per quello che offre. Manca la radio FM, manca la possibilità di interagire con la lingua in italiano. D’altro canto invece posso affermare che è ben fatto come forma ed aerodinamica ed è anche bello da vedere, poi il fatto che si estrae dall’alloggiamento calamitato è un plus, permettendo così di caricarlo senza portarsi dietro il casco. Ripeto può essere acquistabile solo se il prezzo si aggira sui 50/60 euro altrimenti acquistate “sena” (parere personale ovviamente)

So einfach ist es nicht!Das war kommt gut verpackt und edel in deinem Karton! Mit allen Dingen, die dazu gehören. Adapter, Schwanenhalsmikro, Knopfmikro, Klebepads, Ohrhörer usw. Lückenlos!Und das ganze mal zwei. Sehr gut geschützt. Und schon präsentiert. Sehr gut, steht den großen Anbietern wie Sena oder Cardo in nichts nach.Die Verarbeitung ist tadellos, auch hier kann ich sie bei Sena kein IP Rating finden. Das bietet nur Cardo!Aber Abseits davon, Klasse.AppSchnell installiert wird das Gerät ebenso schnell gefunden. Konfiguration ist übersichtlich. Jeder Lautstärke lässt sich separat einstellen. Und auch, ob das Gerät selbst Anrufe annehmen soll. Insgesamt klar strukturiert. Auch Firmware Updates können hier geladen und installiert werden. Der mittlere Reiter ist lediglich zum Bilden einer Gruppe gedacht. Ganz rechts findet man den persönlichen Bereich. Das registrieren passiert lediglich mit Email Adresse und einem zugeschickten Code, ohne Passwort oder ähnliches. Einfach, übersichtlich und gut!Die HartwareEinfach zu verbauen. Gemäß Anleitung, und wenn man so etwas schon mal gemacht hat, ist das alles ein Klacks. Die Klebepads halten wirklich gut. Alles lässt sich gut verbauen und die Hörer passen genau in die Mulde für solche Zwecke, bei den meisten Herstellern von Helmen extra dafür eingelassen. Das Magnetschnellverschlusssystem ist genial! Nur in die Nähe gehalten dann schnappt das System zu und die Haupteinheit hält bombenfest in der Halterung. Das geht nicht besser.Die BedienungEntweder per eigenen Sprachbefehle lassen sich die Funktionen anwählen oder die Personen anrufen. Oder eben die gute alte Tastensteuerung. Und die ist hier mal so einfach und logisch aufgebaut. Das ist wirklich toll! An und Aus wird noch mit zwei Knöpfen in Kombination ausgelöst, alles andere wird durch einfachen Druck oder gehaltenen Druck ausgelöst. Titel vor, zurück, lauter, leiser, Mesh Suche ein, Bluetooth Pairing an. Einfach und logisch. Keine waghalsigen Kombinationen mit anschließendem Fingerbruch. Ich übertreibe da sicher nicht. Der Klang ist weder Sena S50 noch Cardo Packtalk unterlegen, ich würde sagen sogar um Nuancen besser. Einfach Klasse. Wahnsinn! Fast schon Hifi für den Helm.BesonderheitenDie LED Beleuchtung als großes X ist cool, es gibt mehrere Farben. Zwischen blinkend und pulsierend kann man auswählen. Und dann wie schnell sich der Vorgang wiederholt. Nicht nur nett, auch sehr hell und sorgt für Aufmerksamkeit.🔍 FazitIch muss sagen, der Einstieg in die Cardo oder Sena Klasse ist geglückt. Es ist noch nicht ganz auf dem Niveau aber kommt dem bereits sehr nahe, ist zuweilen sogar schon besser. Was soll bei der nächsten Generation noch kommen? Also die etablierten Platzhirsche können sich frisch machen. Das hier ist ernst!!!👍 Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
