Its alive!
Frankenstein'd and now like new shop vac, revived from an end-stage beat down shop vac with emphysema......which required some creative modifications, mainly trimming down of plastic entryway surrounding and griipping the top of motor to get a tight fit. Fired right up and with a vengeance but sooo much quieter without distressful noise of sick bearings and whatever else contributes to the unsettling noise high pitched howling turbulence.

Replacement motor for my old, favorite shop vacuum.
I was pleased to find a replacement motor for my old shop vac. It has great suction at a reasonable noise level. Not sure how old the shop vac is - 40 years? I'm perhaps set for a long time.
