Solid and holds more than you think.
I bought this bunker as I was getting tired of trying to dig bits of coal out of the top of the bag. I only have a small stove and don't use it every night, even in the winter so it took me a while to decide to splash out on this. The package turned up in battered cardboard packaging and comprised seven parts: two sides, back with the hinged top lid attached, front, base, and slidey door. There was also a bag of nuts and bolts with some corner pieces, and a small diagram showing how to put it together. It took me a while to figure out what the instructions were telling me to do in terms of making sure that the seams were locked together. Basically, the whole thing is made of sheet-metal and the sharp edges of the sheets are folded over to make a rounded edge. These folds are not random, the bunker is designed so that the folded edges of the sheets slide inside one another to lock the whole thing together. It's a bit of a struggle to do on your own as it all has to be lined up quite precisely and resulted in bit's of metal shaving pinging off all over the place as the sheets rubbed off each other's burrs. For all this, I think I had the thing assembled in less than half an hour. One the sheets are all locked together, it's just a case of sticking the base plate in position and bolting it all together. The corner pieces felt like they were made from beer cans but they did the job.Once assembled, the bunker was light enough to lift into position single-handedly and looks strong enough to hold a full load of coal. I have poured two 25Kg bags in so far and they don't even come up halfway. I have filled up the coal -bucket a couple of times and it's far easier than digging around in a big bag of coal or lifting it and pouring it (and cleaner).All-in-all, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Good value for money.
A little lighter than I expected, but relatively easy to put together - took me about half an hour. Once built the bunker takes on a more impressive feel of strength and rigidity. All in all, it will serve its purpose and represents very good value for money.

it really is a sub standaed product
very poor quality very flimsy the holes didn't line up when trying to bolt it together ,some parts were bent and when we wanted to return it we had to pay half on the return p&p

How easy is it to assemble.
Almost impossible to assemble. The only good thing about this item was that the coal bunker arrived on time. The instructions were poorly printed, and not only difficult to read, but quite inadequate. They were difficult to understand. The corner pieces originally listed as 2, but subsequently corrected and contained 4, but were impossible to fit all four, as there were insufficient holes drilled. Fitting the base was equally difficult, with incorrectly drilled holes for the nuts and bolts. These didn't align. All in all, assembling this bunker was a disastrous experience, and real blood spilled despite the warning to avoid sharp edges.

Great value
Well worth the money , corners interlock so is quite solid when put together

TRAP DOOR FALLS OUT OF THE GUIDES
FAIRLY EASY TO ASSEMBLE, FEELS QUITE ROBUST BUT... THE SLIDING DOOR FOR ACCESS TO THE COAL IS TOO NARROW AND DOES NOT STAY WITHIN THE GUIDES, THIS MEANS THE DOOR FALLS OUT OF THE GUIDES AND THE COAL FALL OUT OF THE BUNKER. WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN BUT NOW I AM STUCK WITH A 150KG COAL BUNKER INTO WHICH I DARE ONLY PUT 50 KG

Not heavy duty but does a great job
To be fair it's not as sturdy as id expected BUT once full of coal..... feels goodEasy to assemble and well worth the money

Possibly the best of a lot of cheaper versions
This and most other similar bunkers are built of thinly galvanised steel thin sheet mass produced in China or Pakistan. This one seems slightly better grade. We use one of these for storing hot coal ash until it is cold enough to bag and bin. In this service it lasts around 2 - 3 years before rusting through. As a straight coal bin, that has lasted 4 years so far. Two others we use for bulk storage of dry compost will probably last a good bit longer.
