I was looking for a set of French curves for pattern drawing/grading purposes and I settled on this set because it was priced right, is transparent and described as sturdy. I was not disappointed when the set arrived. There are no measurements on the rulers, but I did not expect there would be...but I can wish! The set is nice and sturdy and works great for necklines, arms and body curves. I am sure they will last a long time and for the price, they are a great product. From the largest to the smallest, the edges are clean and easy to trace around, and there is a size for just about every occasion. I don't think that you can go wrong here on the price or quality.

I needed an economy priced set of templates to help my design of woodworking plans. I was browsing around on Amazon and happened upon this set. Hmmmmmm, good price, good variety...what the heck!!When I received the order I was thrilled! This set comes in a cardboard box which may not last too long but I thought they would all be wrapped in shrink-wrap and sent out. That was the first sign that this was a great bargain item.All of the individual templates have a great feature that I didn't appreciate until I used it. They have a raised center edge that runs completely around the template. Kind of like a piece of bologna sticking out from between two slices of bread (pretty good huh?). This ridge keeps the template from interfering with the line and prevents all sorts of marks on the template itself.High marks also go to the decision to make these templates fairly rigid. I ordered a batch of other templates at the same time and they bend and flop, sometimes while you are using it. Not these! They are substantial enough to withstand pressure as you draw and do not scoot out of the way.I'm sure drafting students, design students, and design professionals could put this set to a much more rigorous workout than I ever will but I think they are great and are exceptionally designed.

I can't imagine anyone ever needing to purchase another French Curve after buying this set.This set is the mother load of french curves, the holy grail of fluid line templates. Much larger set and pieces than I expected, especially at this price point. It's one thing to read the description, another to receive the package.This is a large set, with some large pieces. Keep that in mind, trust the measurements given. I kind of ignored the dimensions, but this is a large collection of sizable french curves, designed to hand down for a few generations.Solidly made, like the chalice itself.

This a good section of curves. It makes it so much easier to adjust purchased patterns, to fit you better. It is a great assortment to use when you are making your own patterns, less stress to get arm and neck lines. Great to use to adjust purchased cloths that do not fit quite right, but you love the piece any way. Watch U tube, if you are a fist timer, might find a film showing you how to use them. I am sure there are more was to use them than I do,

I LOVE this set of French curves! I consider this to be one of the best deals I've found on Amazon, and I shop this site daily (I hate going shopping in stores and do as much shopping as I can online). I use these for sewing and drafting my own patterns, as well as for many other crafts--paper crafts, woodworking, painting, etc. These, along with a bendable ruler I have, are essential tools in my craft toolbox. They are well made, easy to use, and can't beat this price!

This set of french curves is great. For those who do a lot of sewing, it is a great addition to your tool collection. With it you will always be ready for any curves that you may encounter. It is much more versatile than the classic equivalent. It is also great for graphic designing. I just received it not too long ago and have not had the opportunity to use them but once, and yet I'm sure I will be using it often. Great product.

Great curves, great sizes. Clear so you can see your lines underneath and has a nice ridged lip that helps to keep stray marks off the curves. Each piece is in it's own plastic sleeve and all in one box. Makes it easier to store and keep your curves scratch free. I bought this thinking I just needed an inexpensive set but I found I am finding this is a rather upscale set. My sewing instructor actually asked where I purchased them and was astonished by the low price.

These French curves are double beveled, allowing a pen or pencil to accurately trace the curve.
