Excellent product at and excellent price!
Very comfortable to use, and being compatible with the whole Op-tech system means it's nicely interchangeable with neck straps etc. Made of reassuringly thick neoprene and very well stitched / riveted together it can take a lot of force. I've had my Canon 7D DSLR with battery grip, external flash and 70-200 f2.8 lens fall out my hand (total weight ~3.5kg) and this took it and saved it crashing to the floor! Worth every penny I paid for it!Good:- Feels like a high quality product costing much more than it did!- Can take a lot more weight than first impressions might suggest- Lasting well, no apparent deterioration with time/weather exposureBad:- The slider to tighten it around your wrist is very tight and a faff to do up one handed, but keeps it tight once it's done up.Summary:Does the job would 100% buy again. Have since bought into the Op-tech system further.

Easy, comfy and helps photographers!
I loved how simple this strap is yet so affordable compared to other products.I was slightly worried at first so I tested the strap on wrist over a soft environment (in case the strap was to fail) and surely it was amazing. I have used it for over 10 photo shoots already as I tend to carry a lot of equipment with me (lens, tripods, extra camera) this has really helped me by not having neck strap that gets caught to everything.I also like how easy the strap is to dismantle from clip - very handy when attaching to other devices on the fly. The strap is very comfy and soft on your wrist, hasn’t shown any signs of wear or stretching so far... so I’m very happy!I would strongly recommend this company and this product. I will be taking this with me abroad to photograph/film and will try to update this review if I find anything new.

The best camera strap I've ever bought
Like many photographers, I find a neck strap to be a pain (literally if wearing it for any length of time), and prefer to carry my camera in one hand, secured by a wrist strap. But many wrist straps are rather loose and feel flimsy. This strap solves that. It's a quality item that gives confidence that your precious camera is safe even though it can be ready for action in a second. The actual wrist strap is snug enough to be secure, but not so tight as to be uncomfortable or difficult to put on or take off, at least on my average man sized hands. If you want to mount the camera on a tripod, then there's a quick-release buckle to detach the wrist strap from the camera attachment. The buckle attaches firmly, so you never feel that it could come loose unexpectedly. My one criticism is that attaching the strap to the camera in the first place can be difficult. It took me several minutes and the help of a slim screwdriver to persuade it onto my Canon camera. Cameras with larger attachment lugs won't encounter the same problem, and if all else fails a split ring would make the connection. But since the reason for the difficulty is the thickness of the attachment strap, I feel that the benefits of strength outweigh the disadvantages. And you only have to attach it once. So it doesn't lose a star from its rating.

Small, light, comfortable wrist strap.
I thought this wrist strap would be more substantial as it has SLR in it's name, and some SLRs can be heavy and quite large. However, for a fairly small, mirrorless camera body like mine it works okay. It's light and comfortable, and like all the Op-tech products I've used, it seems well made, and the connector system makes it easy to change from wrist strap to neck strap.

Convenient and reliable.
I've been using one for 10 years with no problems. Just bought another as I now tend to carry two cameras on outings, one for visible light and one for infrared.A bonus is that the wrist strap is part of the greater OP/TECH system which includes several useful accessories.

Great alternative to a neck strap
I like many others are not comfortable with a neck strap - I have a Canon 60D and found that I mostly wrap the neck strap around my wrist. I also brought a hand strap which saves a heavy DSLR slipping off your fingers. But I was still wrapping the neck strap around my wrist and decided that I needed something better. The OP/Tech wrist strap is comfortable as it is made from neoprene, so it shouldn't chafe. The Uni-loop clasp is solid and locks home with a firm reassuring click. It appears very well constructed for the price. Time will tell with how long the strap will last before fraying [hopefully not soon].The strap for me acts as a security measure - I use it in tandem with the hand strap and if I was to accidentally lose grip from the hand strap the wrist strap would save the camera falling to the ground. The wrist strap for me really is a better alternative to wrapping the long neck strap around my wrist.

A high-quality bargain wriststrap
I really like camera wrist straps, and this OP/TECH one fits the bill nicely. It's quite a big strap, but having had the small wriststrap on my FZ200 fail and have it drop to the ground, I would rather over-engineer something like this.Pros:I like how it can be quickly removed from your camera, if you put your camera on a tripod for example. This is a real plus. I also like how you can use it with OP/TECH neckstraps too, which is a nice touch. I also like the fact it's a bit stretchy, it feels comfortable in use. It's adjustable, and my weird big hands fit nicely through and then I can close down a little onto my thin wrists.Cons:Your wrists can get a bit sweaty on hot days and it takes a fair bit of space in your camera bag. Also the thick cord that you need to thread through your camera eyelet needs to be guided through carefully of you have a small gap. It certainly fits my Panasonic FZ200, G6, and my Nikon DSLRs, but there's no way it'd fit through my TZ7 eyelet. All in all, I'm very pleased with this wriststrap and have bought two so far. They are great value.
