BEAUTIFUL COLORS
The color of this Tomagotchi is so pretty and it works like expected. I had a Gen 3 Tomagotchi and lost it sadly, but this was a nice buy. Cute and simple yet fun like I remember it being when I was a kid.

If you're 30+, you will instantly recognize this as the exact Tamagotchi from our childhood! So, if you loved it then, you will still love it. If you're new to Tamagotchi, the controls are easy to learn and it takes no time to figure out what's up when it starts beeping. It's a fun way to teach your kiddo responsibility, or give them a fun "pet" to take care of without any hassle. It's also a small toy, fit to be a keychain, and is durable enough to be taken anywhere (except underwater). Our daughter loves hers and it took her no time to learn how to use it.

Cool nastalgic toy!
I'm glad these rereleases came out! I never had an original tamagotchi when I was little, so I'm glad they rereleased it for the 20th Anniversary. I thought this was a little expensive just because of the color, but it works great and I'm glad to have it!

Cute
Bought for my 5yo, mostly for my own nostalgia. She likes it okay but doesn't pay enough attention to it for it to live longer than a day or two at a time, but that's too be expected with her age. It's cute, fun to have. Although playing the "game" with it can be frustrating, because there's no rhyme or reason to it and if you don't guess correctly it gets mad.

It is a really great way to teach a child how to care for a pet.
I purchased this Tamagotchi for my nine-year-old daughter. She has really enjoyed playing with her virtual pet and it brings back old memories for me playing with one as a child. She originally was interested in the upgraded virtual Tamagotchi pet that ranges between $50 and $60. I chose to buy this one For her to be sure that she would continue playing with it. It is a really great way to teach a child how to care for a pet. I am now considering buying a set of the upgraded virtual Tamagotchi’s for her and her seven-year-old sister so they can connect and play together.

Short life
My daughter received this for Easter and took care of it diligently. On day three, with full happiness, discipline, and food meters, the creature got sick and started beeping. None of the buttons would respond to touch in order to give the creature medicine, so it died (angel wings and stars). We had to hold down buttons A and C to reset it. Highly disappointing, but we're hoping the next creature lives longer and we aren't forced into having it die again from no fault of our own. That was really unfair.

Kids love it
My 6 yo daughter loves it. It’s difficult for her to keep it alive, but she loves it.
