Easy to install directly to the ECM. I even got 3 - 4 miles per gallon. I read all the facts about going from 8 - 6 - 4 cylinders while driving...it causes lifter problems and oil consumption. So I purchased this to keep my engine in 8 cylinders mode at all times and it also stops that annoying auto shut-off! Great product for 2022.5 - 2024 GM vehicles with 5.3L.

2022.5 LT Trail Boss 6.2L.Plug and play. 200 miles since install, no issues. No more auto start/stop. Full timeV8. Love it. MPG diff is negligible if any. Make sure to pull the negative battery cable before install and the inner wheel well liner will be pushed back a bit after install but no worries. TPMS will show 0 PSI until you drive it for a bit then sensors will wake up.Buy it, install it and let er rip bud.

Works great

I disconnected the negative battery cable and installed the module. Connected the battery cable and the gauge cluster was black. Truck would not start. I disconnected the battery cable and removed the module. Truck started and has a check engine light now. Now the truck has to go to the dealer.

I liked this it was easy to install and works like designed

1 month in and this has been the best purchase I could have done for my 2022.5 Silverado Chevrolet 1500 RST. It makes the V8 come alive and my fuel mileage went from an average of 15 MPG on the highway, to the highest of 20 MPG which pays for itself! Definitely recommended!
