The string did not fit around my head at all but the ball was able to mostly sit on my nose. It would occasionally fall off, but it fit its purpose for taking photos.

My husband has suffered a skin condition on one side of his nose from smoking a pipe, the smoke rising and irritating, etc. I bought this for him to wear to cover his nose while he smokes (which fortunately he does while alone. It's not a picture I want to retain.). A great feature is that it has the holes in it so he can breathe easily. However, he said it was a little uncomfortable where the knots of the string were tied. He retied the string so that the knots are on the outside, and that helped, although he says it is still not as comfortable as he would like. It is, however, helping his situation. You just never "nose" what something will be used for.

Will work perfectly for my clown costume this year. Especially like the notched out section on back & the elastic so that it will fit over the medical face mask that I have to wear at work this year (due to the pandemic) and still be comfortable.

Also is very hard not comfortable

Once you put on this comfrotably fitting nose you know you have moved into really being a "clown."Nose is well constructed and has two nostrils for beathing ease. The elastic hold the nost on well without being constricting.Thanks.
