Well designed Sonic Toothbrush. Good Brand.
Great toothbrush, does what it's supposed to do, teeth feel very clean after use. This is my second one of this model. The previous one lasted roughly seven years, before it bit the dust, just wouldn't charge in the end. But after that length of time I can't complain. The model was once again on offer on Amazon just before Christmas, so I just replaced it. If it lasts another seven years I'll be happy.

Wow! Amazingly Clean Teeth - Better Than Oral B
My very first electric toothbrush was an old Philips version but when that one died after many years use I decided to try Oral B and chose the Pro 3000. I didn’t want all the App. based rubbish, just a good electric toothbrush. I’ve been using the same Oral B for some years nowI wondered about replacing my Oral B with a newer version but decided to try Philips Sonicare againThis one has the same cleaning (62,000 strokes a minute) as their more advanced models but, again, I didn’t want/need all the fancy bits like App. based etcI immediately put it on charge and left it for a while until fully charged before trying it outWow! What an amazing clean this thing does. It definitely cleans better than the Oral B I have been using all this timeThe brush head looks like a normal manual brush only smaller whereas the Oral B uses a round head. I thought I may not get on with this new shape but because it’s a small head there was absolutely no problems whatsoeverThe only ‘smart’ thing this Philips toothbrush has is BrushSync which monitors your use and lights up the BrushSync light on the handle when it’s time to change the brush head, apart from that it has two speeds but I only use it on the highest settingAll in all I think it’s an extremely good brush and not too expensive eitherHighly recommendedUPDATE: I’ve been using this Sonicare toothbrush since I received it and it has only just flashed up that it needs a charge; so it lasted exactly one month between charges which I think is very good. It’s been an amazing product and my teeth look and feel extremely clean

Dect toothbrush
Likes:- battery life. First full charge lasted just over 3 weeks, much better than the 2 weeks advertised (used twice a day on max vibrate). This and price are probably the most important factor in buying for me- dual speed vibration option- price (much more keenly priced than all the unnecessary Bluetooth enabled and app-connected brushes)Dislikes:- colour. I went for the black one as it was approx £30 cheaper than white at the time. Of course I could have paid more if I was desperate- travel case. Looks, feels and is cheap/poor quality. Like others have said, it doesn't really hold anything firmly in place. Having said that I generally take a good old fashioned manual toothbrush when travelling- no usb charging capability. It needs the philips charger with the two pin plug.Overall, despite my minor dislikes, it is a good brush at a good price and I am happy

Really like this.
Had Braun for years, but rubber handle broke. Bought this due to an offer, like the ultrasonic effect. I think it's less effective, but it's more gentle on gums. Don't regret purchase although device is begging me to change head although it's fine.

Perfect no frills electric toothbrush
This is probably my 4th Philips Sonicare toothbrush. My old one suddenly stopped working and after a little research, plus an Amazon gift voucher - I decided on this one. I'm so glad I didn't get a different one. There's one button, which I love. No extra button for whitening teeth. No extra button for different pulses. I just want to clean my teeth and go. The brush itself comes with a head, plus a travel case. I recently travelled and used the case. You pull off the head, and lay both handle and head in the box. It's very secure, clean , and ensures I don't accidentally turn on the handle while in my case. I also LOVE these heads. My previous Healthy White models have had white heads with larger surface areas which have curved bristles. These are smaller and more straight, meaning I can get to all areas of my mouth easily. The handle also senses the head and informs you when it's been 3 months, so you can change to a new head. The orange light and vibrations can't be missed. It looks good and on a single charge it lasts me around 2 weeks. It's simple and easy to use if you just want clean teeth! It charges overnight (I'd say maybe 6 hours though I haven't timed it) but it's worth pointing out that it has a 2 pin plug so you'll need an adapter if you don't have those shaver ports in your bathroom.

Won't last
Purchased Nov 2022, the shaft seal would often get gunked up and occasionally look mouldy. Whilst cleaning it the other day (April 2025), the seal deteriorated. This has allowed water to enter and now it won't charge anymore. The seal is not easily replaceable - planned obsolescence. This is especially galling after having just bought a set of A3 heads for it! The lack of a proper battery indicator was also a constant annoyance - the amount of times I hadn't noticed the tiny LED warning it was low and then suddenly not being able to do my teeth properly... The only positive is it did actually clean my teeth much better than a manual brush.
