TAJ Kalonji Seeds | 3.5oz (100g) | Black Seeds, Nigella Sativa, Black Cumin Seeds

I've never had these seeds before so I have nothing to compare this particular bag to. I bought them because of the claimed glucose lowering properties and to try them in meals.The product appears to be be of high quality, nothing else is in the mix but the pure seeds themselves.I tasted a few as is without anything and was pleased by the freshness and the taste of cumin. The cumin taste is unique and is different from common cumin but is pleasant. I took a bit more and that's when I got more of the strong flavors and a bit of bitterness at the end. The flavor has a long finish. I see me using these on top of Nan bread or substitute for Zatar.The price is quite reasonable for the amount.As many have pointed out that the bag is not resealable and is best put in a zip lock bag to maintain freshness.

These black cumin seeds are great for Indian food. The size and texture is exactly what I was expecting, and there was no extra chaff in the bag. The seeds were fresh and flavorful.

These are good quality seeds, comparable to what I can find in stores. They are clean, whole, and have good flavor.

These Black Seeds from TAJ are great! It's solid quality and fresh, very similar to the better quality offerings I find in Southeast Asian/Indian grocery shops.My only gripe is the pricing. While not horrible, it's notably pricier than similar offerings I find at grocery stores that are comparable in quality. These are still a great buy from TAJ, but just not THE absolute best deal on the market.

These seeds are nice I use them for tea only because I don't know any recipes for black seeds. The smell is nice they are pretty fresh and I love the health benefits from drinking tea made from these seeds.

These taste good and have a unique flavor, but I ordered Nigella Sativa and received Black Onion. Seller should make it clear if these are in fact the same items, especially for people new to this spice.

This review is for the TAJ kalonji seeds. These taste and smell fresh and have a good gently oniony flavor that is great for topping naan. They are slightly crunchy. You do need to put in another resealable bag once you open because this bag is not resealable. These seem high quality.

This kalonji is great quality. I use it in my Pakistani dishes and it adds great flavor! It's a good size too, but you'll have to put it into an airtight container once it's opened.
