All in One
It’s like magic because it can connect to 4K screens and charge my laptop super fast with its 180W adapter, and it even has a swappable module thingy for upgrades! I love all the ports, it has Thunderbolt, USB, HDMI, and even Ethernet, so I can plug in everything at once and keep my desk super tidy. It works with my Windows laptop and my friend’s Mac, and it’s just the BEST for gaming, homework, and everything else!

This Docking Station Provide the Power You Need
I purchased earlier a different docking station but found its power to the computer was inadequate for my new Dell laptop. In particular, if you need 130 watts power supplied to the computer, THIS is the docking station you want. In addition to the power supply, it has all the various outputs you are likely to need. Don't underestimate the value of having a Thunderbolt connection. Very nice... very fast. If you need new docking, consider "biting the bullet" and get a good one. This will do the job.

Get it, I love mine!
The item was as advertised, brand new, in the box. Good price too, delivered as promised. Easy to hook up, works great with my laptop; only 1 cable attaches to my laptop so disconnecting & taking it with me is easy. I did have to do a lot of driver updates on my 6 week old laptop & on the docking station. But that's on Dell, not on ANYHDD (but I am glad Dell makes them available for free).BTW, check the Dell site. They have a compatibility guide for their laptops & docking stations (they only show 2 that work with my laptop). Other setups probably work, but you might lose some functionality.I'd recommend getting the mounting bracket too (I couldn't find it on their site, so I bought it from another seller). It attaches to the back of my external monitor, can also be attached to the underside of a desk. Helps in routing the cables, and the docking station isn't taking up any space up on my desk.

Doesn't support Alienware
This unit doesn't support the 18R2 Alienware that is offered by Dell. I talked to support and they insist it will. This unit will not charge my laptop. What I find surprising is none of the USB-C ports will support charging on this laptop making docking stations useless especially at this price point. Save your money and just buy a second power brick which runs close to the same price as the docking station. Don't get me wrong I still use a docking station to run bits and pieces. I may even eliminate the dock as I still have to plugin multiple devices to my laptop. Dell really needs to come out with a docking station designed to support Alienware laptops that they sell.

Great rare Thunderbolt dock that has at least one HDMI port.
I have an oddly specific old laptop that only runs its video card though my HDMI port so I needed a docking station to have at least one HDMI port so this Dell Dock fits the bill exactly. I can run two monitors at the same time as well as my laptop screen and it doesn't give me any fits so far.The extra fast ethernet, thunderbolt ports, and usb ports are a bonus for me. The build quality feels good because of how hefty/sturdy it feels to the touch. It also does not get nuclear hot on the surface like some other docks.8/10 I would recommend it. I hope this review is helpful.
