Excellent but not quite as portable or quiet as it may imply.
This is very effective item, well made and supremely designed, packaged and thought through. Works very well indeed. However, it does kind of need assembly/disassembly if your moving it with you and although quiet compared to full sized or hospital machines it is still noisy with deep vibration type sounds.May be a very good product for a second room in your house or in your RV or similar? BUTIf you need a hand held easy solution for a holiday or visiting someone etc. that is seriously quiet and incredibly convenient go for a FEELLIFE-Portable-Handheld-Atomiser or similar.

Great product
I did not have much luck before finding the right nebuliser. I have adult onset asthma and needed something effective yet small and portable. Space in the home is also a factor. This product ticks almost all the boxes for me. It’s small, light and compact. Powerful. Easy to use. Today I used it rested on a tray whilst travelling as a passenger in a car. It worked well. I highly recommend it.My only slight reservation is having to buy a replacement mask in a year. But that’s not a big deal if the part is a reasonable cost and readily available.

Very handy, high quality device
This is a high quality device that has some really nice portability features. The carry case is useful to have, three case comes with a mesh pocket to keep saline solution or medicine, and the atomiser works multiple times on a single charge. However, as with any nebuliser, its portability is limited by your ability to clean and sterilise it properly (with vinegar/distilled water, and boiling some components) if you need to use it over multiple days. This is really important with a medical device that could permanently damage your respiratory system if it's not cleaned properly. As a singer, I only use it (with 0.9 saline solution) when I need to recover from a respiratory infection, and it's great in addition to a vocal steamer. This was more expensive than the off-brands on Amazon, but it's uniquely handy, and quality is a top priority when you're buying a medical device. Beurer has not disappointed.

Great performance and portable, however...
I've had this for nearly 18 months now and I can say this nebuliser is great for those who travel / don't have access to mains electric.I use this for travelling around the world and for camping, where 12v DC or 5v USB is usually fairly accessible just about everywhere. The performance of the atomisation is just as good as my mains nebuliser, if not better. As for quiet, I wouldn't say it's "quiet". I would say that it's not as loud as a mains nebuliser, but by no means quiet. I often have to also put something like a cloth under the nebuliser as the sound amplifies on the surface it's sat on.The fluid atomiser chamber is brittle, Beurer could really do with making improvements to this, but I guess they wouldn't be able to screw their customers out of an expensive "yearly kit". By far the most brittle chambers I've ever used. The adapter for the mask, again is brittle and does seem to crack, but I have been using it anyway. It does weep ever so slightly, but it hasn't stopped me from using it.The battery is OK... although I am really reluctant to use it only on battery as it does have a habit of dying mid session (even after fully charging, it's a bit hit and miss as to whether you'll get 100% session complete)The tubing from the neb to the chamber is also pretty stiff, which can make positioning the unit on your face / where you put the nebuliser a bit fiddly, but I've mostly learned to live with it.Would I recommend this? The answer is yes, but I would also point out all of the above and I would definitely wait for an offer as I think it's overpriced, but there also doesn't seem to be much in the way of competition for this type of unit in my opinion.
