good knife, great value
This review is based on first day experience. This is a great knife. I have large hands, ths good feel in the hand. It's long ... not very "mini" at all. I have trouble operating the thumb knob for opening. Maybe it's my arthritis, maybe It takes some getting use to it. The lock is solid, there is no wobble or flexibility in the open position. The blade is marked "MAGNACUT", only your metallurgist knows for sure. But it was sharp out the box.

Best Benchmade knockoff ever
Nowhere in the description does this say Benchmade (and for $40 I wouldn't have believed it anyway) but the box and the markings on the knife are all Benchmade. Bought the knife because it looked like a decent knife in the price range that I was looking for. Oddly, if the description had said "Benchmade", I wouldn't have bought it because I would have known that it was a knockoff. As far as the knife goes, it is of surprisingly good quality. The finish is consistent and unblemished, the blade is sharp and evenly ground, and there is no noticeable looseness or play in the pivot. All in all, it seems to be a very well made knife.

You get what you pay for, but not what is described.
The description days i is Magnacut steel. However, the blade clearly says S90V, an inferior steel, but reflective of the price. Furthermore, in order to retract the blade, yes, you need to push the lock bar back, but, the blade also needs to be manually pushed back in. Finally, 'Benchmade'? I have never seen a Benchmade with this poor quality. For a $36 knife it is notbad. However, do NOT believe the description.

Not As Advertised, But Not Bad
This is not a CPM Magnacut knife as claimed. It is a reasonably well executed imitation of a four hundred dollar knife made by a famous knife brand -Benchmade- and two designers. The box says it is a "Benchmade" knife with foreign manufacturing origin. Anyone who knows knives would know that is not how Benchmade rolls. It is not a super high quality knife, but rather a decently made normal knife that could sell for about half this price.

nice knife for price.
arrived with labeling and box of an expensive brand. and it is a nice knife. The blade is marked S90V steel rather than what it is supposed to be MagnaCut. But I'm keeping it anyway. Not sure if it is really the brand that it is marked... I assume it is a clone of the model 710. So not sure it is actually S90V either.

Quality is Satisfactory For The Money Paid…
The product was appropriate and satisfactory for what It cost, though the blade steel was not marked as the type advertised. I feel that I still got a fair deal as it was very sharp and everything worked well after a couple drops of oil on the pivot. The crossbar lock tension is heavy to me, as the Chinese knives usually are.

True Magnacut EDC
These knives are GREAT value for EDC knives with MagnaCut blades and T6 aluminum handles! Fantastic value with better than average build, fit, and finish. I don't know if you can match these knives at this price! The knives are very sharp out of the box. They open with a thumb button and the internal slid‐lock mechanism makes it effortless to safely close the knife. They pocket carry point up, and the clip is sturdy but not so tight you wear the pocket out.

High quality
This is the best knife I own, great material, good steel, great grip, sharp blade, beautiful appearance, looks like a high end brand knife.
