Informative, great takeaways, and relevant stories - appeals to my personal EQ!
All of us, along with our leaders, organizations we work for, and even those that serve us, have the potential to develop Emotional Intelligence (EQ). Recognized and appreciated for its relationship to success, EQ is worth our time and exploration. With that in mind, I very much enjoyed and recommend 'Emotional Intelligence for the Modern Leader,' a new book from Christopher D. Connors.Valuable stories about leaders who embody EQ, the identification of characteristics of EQ found in successful leaders, the impact of EQ on their varying styles, and takeaways for becoming an Emotionally Intelligent leader abound in this book. The ability to use an individual’s EQ and transform an organization will be particularly helpful for small business owners, along with the senior leadership of large organizations. In the uncertainty following the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, it’s good to have practical ideas moving forward.Reviewed by Mason Harris

The Essential Guide on Emotional Intelligence for Leaders
Christopher Connors has captured all of the necessary elements for becoming an emotionally intelligent leader in his book. And the best thing is that he has done it succinctly and to the point, not being overly academic. There is clearly educational intent in every chapter but, it's been done with practical application in mind, which made it more meaningful for myself. Each chapter close has a review, self-assessment and exercises that you will find beneficial. I highly recommend this book if you're looking to quickly understand EI and make it work for you on the job, at home or at play. Make no mistake, EI is a lifelong skill and if you take the time to learn and understand how your emotions impact everything that you do--this read will have a high return on your investment.

Great read / can be applied
I recommend the book to those who lead teams in orgs. Really can be helpful and will for sure improve your EQ and will make you lead as a great leader rather than being a manager who just manage people.
